No surprise to me.
I've been posting my thoughts, in line with what you say and even more, for a number of weeks now.
Sadly, IMO, the picture is very much darker than the one you paint.

There is a sort of truth in Richard's claim. His second appearance for Rovers against Millwall was on the right side of a back three.
So not full-back like Tricky Dicky said.

'Large'? I don't think we have one full stop. This is looking dire.
I was being diplomatic! Although you never know. Who thought they'd spunk £7m on Bambi Ben.

No bid made for Goode. We clearly haven't got a very large pot to piss in.

Reassuringly vague.

He wasn't the greatest, I agree, but I don't hold with criticism that is abusive.
I've not read all the thread. Can you quote the abuse?

You need to look back on the board . At least one poster has described Christian Walton as "talentless" - a completely over the top description of a player on the books of a Premier League club with 156 appearances in professional club football and 12 for England at under 19,20 and 21 levels.
To be fair though he was fairly shite for us, which is all that should matter.

I think you are right.
IMO, Ewood Park is a pressure free zone with too many far too comfortable and drawing big bucks, led by Mowbray and Waggott.
I think rockets up arses badly needed.
Sadly, IMO, our football club is dying on its feet.
Your posts should end with the EastEnders drum intro.?

Barry Ferguson for me. We don’t do well with £7m purchases do we. It’s definitely the jinx fee for us.
Davies, Grabbi, Ferguson, Brereton.

87/88 season Leeds away. Really hostile atmosphere in and out of the ground and we came back from 2 down to draw 2-2 and were unlucky not to win in the end. 5,000 rovers fans crammed behind the goal going radio rental when we equalised.
That was a great side put together on a shoestring by Don Mackay. No dumbing down of the club back then like there is now.
Remember it well. A lot of their 'boys' were going mental in that paddock down the right side of the pitch from us.

I'm expecting something like this.
Chapman to get a game in goal with no first team keepers available, then all our strikers on the right wing, due to the fact our only right winger is now in goal. Holtby in the false 9 role, due to the fact all our strikers are playing wide right.
Bennett at right back.
I think you might need to move Rothwell more central. Give Downing and Williams the freedom to destroy their right flank.

IFollow passes per season ticket for all games played behind closed doors.
No refunds to be given.
(which I suspect is what is coming here)
It's what's coming everywhere if the clubs have any sense. They don't really have a choice.

Probably the Derby PO game at Ewood, but Rovers v Villa in 1988 always stands out. A packed BBE and Garner and Archibald on fire.

I wonder if ST's will be cheaper due to not knowing when fans can actually watch matches live? At £10 a game on ifollow that's £230 a season.
