well you are saying you may not renew because of the virus. So for two to three hours per week at Ewood you are likely to catch the virus. The other 99% of the time you are OK. It would be more logical to not renew because the football is shit

You've assumed wrong. I'm saying if there's another lockdown then investing in a ST would be throwing money away as you won't be able to go to the ground.

"Apart from that, we're a very proud football club and we will strive to get to the top six next year. We believe we can, and yet you never how strong the relegated Premier League sides are going to be. We have to keep building and looking after ourselves and strive to make the top six as soon as we can."

Not the words of a man who thinks he's under pressure.

I think it's pretty rare that championship players are bought by premier League clubs. How many were last summer? Anyone know? My impression is you would need to be really pulling up trees to go the Prem but I don't think any of ours are quite in that category yet.

Probably the bigger danger is the club's coming down trying to take them off us.

I think we've got a decent chance of holding onto all of them.

Sheff 's Utd's team still consists of a few that were in L1 with them. They signed that McBurnie last season from the Championship.. plus Ben Osborn, Luke Freeman, Jack Robinson and Callum Robinson.

I think Lenihan would fit the profile that Wilder looks for.

  4. Wouldn't be surprising to see Prem interest in any or all three of Lenihan, AA and Travis this summer.  I'd imagine Mowbray is banking on a big sale if he wants any money to spend.

Sharpe saying Tosin and Samuel have likely played their last games for the club.

i remember kevin hird from when my dad first started taking me to the footy,he used to fly up and down the wing, did`nt he go to leeds for big money??and then obviously an ignominious end to his career when he finished off playing for the dingles

He was playing in the East Lancs League circa 2000 for some godforsaken village team out Bonleh way.  Still class.

As was that Brittain fella who played for the Dingles and Chelsea.
