Is ffp not being suspended for a year?
Yep. It will be lumped in with 2021 instead according to https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2020/06/18/ffp-rules-suspended-12-months-across-european-football-ease/

well you are saying you may not renew because of the virus. So for two to three hours per week at Ewood you are likely to catch the virus. The other 99% of the time you are OK. It would be more logical to not renew because the football is shit
You've assumed wrong. I'm saying if there's another lockdown then investing in a ST would be throwing money away as you won't be able to go to the ground.

Does the virus only infect season ticket holders ?
Eh?

With the probable resurgence of the virus in the Autumn/Winter months I don't think I'll be renewing. Without a viable Track & Trace system in place I don't see how another lockdown can be avoided.

"Apart from that, we're a very proud football club and we will strive to get to the top six next year. We believe we can, and yet you never how strong the relegated Premier League sides are going to be. We have to keep building and looking after ourselves and strive to make the top six as soon as we can."
Not the words of a man who thinks he's under pressure.

We need defenders and keepers this summer - 2 x GK, 2 x LB, 1 x RB, 1 x CB at the absolute minimum.
We'll probably get strikers who can't play on the wing.

Hull (twice), Reading (twice), Sheff W (twice), Bristol City (twice), Barnsley, Millwall, Brentford, Derby, Stoke, Boro, QPR, Charlton, Cardiff.
The teams Tony has beaten this season. Not at lot of stand-out results.

There was a lot of talk from Tony of 70 points and a serious assault on the play-offs. He's failed to meet his own targets.

Whatever your opinion on the job Mowbray has done so far, I think we can all agree he'll never get us promoted, or even in the play-offs.

I'd use all 5 subs starting with 3 at half time. I'd replace Johnson, Johnson and Johnson.
Luton got the measure of this outfit.
That would be a (Procter &) Gamble.

It’s a wind up. But let’s treat it with the same importance we did the Travis/Coventry one.
Proves we’re signing PL players!
TMBWA
As wind-ups go it's a bit niche!

He’s a full back and a good one so doubt it
he's a midfielder as i recall.

is this true?

We must have been in the play-off positions when Dack got injured.

Is there anyone worth poaching from Wigan?

We could do with a left back.

To be fair he was playing on the right of the 3.
Great goal but strengthen mowbrays resolve in playing him there
Ah,I thought he's come on up front, which is really the only place he should play.

I think it's pretty rare that championship players are bought by premier League clubs. How many were last summer? Anyone know? My impression is you would need to be really pulling up trees to go the Prem but I don't think any of ours are quite in that category yet.
Probably the bigger danger is the club's coming down trying to take them off us.
I think we've got a decent chance of holding onto all of them.
Sheff 's Utd's team still consists of a few that were in L1 with them. They signed that McBurnie last season from the Championship.. plus Ben Osborn, Luke Freeman, Jack Robinson and Callum Robinson.
I think Lenihan would fit the profile that Wilder looks for.

Play them in the right positions and they have more of a chance of contributing. Try not to complicate things,Tony.
Gally got 12 goals under C*yle. There's a striker in there somewhere.

Lenihan isn't good enough for the Prem. Travis isn't ready. Armstrong is the one who will leave.
Sheff Utd wanted Lenihan last season. He's plenty good enough. Travis might not go straight into someone's 1st team but he has the potential to play in the Prem.

Could be worse:-
BBC Humberside to Grant McCann: “you didn’t have a shot on target all game”
Grant McCann: “Yeah, it’s something we need to work on”
?

Wouldn't be surprising to see Prem interest in any or all three of Lenihan, AA and Travis this summer. I'd imagine Mowbray is banking on a big sale if he wants any money to spend.
Sharpe saying Tosin and Samuel have likely played their last games for the club.

i remember kevin hird from when my dad first started taking me to the footy,he used to fly up and down the wing, did`nt he go to leeds for big money??and then obviously an ignominious end to his career when he finished off playing for the dingles
He was playing in the East Lancs League circa 2000 for some godforsaken village team out Bonleh way. Still class.
As was that Brittain fella who played for the Dingles and Chelsea.

Fisher, Nyambe, Lenihan, Carter, JRC, Wharton, Travis, Butterworth, Magloire, Buckley & Vale could all be involved with the 1st team next season on a regular basis.
For everything else that is wrong with the club the Academy is in excellent shape.
