I remember Clinton Morrison's response to that handball.
"Just let it go, this is great drama, a late equalizer scored by a goalkeeper, I don't want it to be disallowed"
We need a 2/3 outcome scenario. Odds are against us of course but if we don't win our match, all of it is irrelevant anyway.
Bristol City to draw or lose
Coventry City to draw or lose
Millwall to draw or lose
I have a feeling that 2 of those 3 will play out but we fail to beat Sheffield United. Middlesbrough could sneak in the back door.
I normally go to 1 or 2 away games a season but that was my first win at an away match since Feb 2020. Felt good on the coach back this time for a change.
I'm thinking if they do that ticket credit thing again but for the start of the season I'd be tempted. I'm sick of the midweek games and KO time changes.
Blackburn Roverseas has a user on this forum. Would be nice if he made a comment on this thread. I understand if he'd prefer to keep his info on this vlogs though.
Not fully sure of what the implications of an independent regulator for owners would be but Reading MPS are currently pushing for one. That town's club has had it's fair share of turmoil which looks to be nearing an end soon.
Reading MPs discuss independent football regulator in parliament - BBC News
Saw an article this morning how Derby have a huge setback. One of their best-rated players, Ozoh, is predicted to be out for the remainder of the season after a late injury against Millwall.
"Massive blow for Eustace" and Derby's chance of survival after injury news
Eustace knows the Rovers squad better than our current manager. I think he'll cook something up to tactically play to the weaknesses of the Rovers players and ultimately come away with the three points. Would love to be wrong, mind.
I quite like this new flexi ticket they have introduced. I'm not going to get it this time as it doesn't work out well for me at this point but if it was at the beginning of the season I would have got it for sure. Not sure if it's an idea for a version of a half season ticket or if it's something they will implement for the start of the next season.
I know Reading FC do something where they have a members card that you pay for. That members card then makes tickets cheaper and every ticket or ST you purchase from there on in get put on that card. You only need to know what seat your sat in which will be in an e-mail anyway I'd assume. I think this system for us would be a nice compromise between both sides of the discussion.
That was an accurate interpretation to be fair. Everyone's input has been helpful to some degree which I appreciate. I can make midweek games but I do struggle with them. Getting home late and waking up early etc. All in all, I'm done with them unless it's a big game like a derby. I've noticed that the fixtures have been switched around a lot for sky broadcasts a lot over the last 2 seasons which I find frustrating too. I think I'm going to hold off getting a season ticket tbh. You never know I might get the urge to get a half season ticket which has happened to me before.
I’ve had a ST in the N01 BB end for 2 seasons now but I’m weighing up what the best decision is next season. I’m sick of the midweek and night games but I’m not sure if the other home games paid for separately will add up to the ST price or not. Any advice welcome btw.
