GB: Uhhh Steve, we’ve actually beat Wednesday in the race here, Duncan is flying over for a medical right now…
SW: Wait, what?! They were supposed to outbid us, so we could say “we tried our best” etc. Shit!
GB: So…?
SW: Well, pull the plug Gregg!
GB: Okay Steve. Ummm btw - can you tell Jon this time? I did the O’Brien one remember!

We are an absolute embarrassment, shambolic behavior this.
If this turns out to be correct, I won’t set foot in Ewood again whilst those muppets are in charge.

seems a bit risky going after this CB when the deal for McGuire isn’t signed yet
Is it not?

I can’t see how anyone can be looking at our squad without Adam and saying we don’t need a centre midfielder. I think it might even be more important than a striker at this point.
Louie Sibley or Max Bird would do 👍

looks like we're exploring some loan to buys at the end of this window, which suggests that money will be available in the summer if they're willing to commit to spending this much of it now.
Seems like a good way of doing it to me.
Try before you buy, if they’re shite send them back - however if they’re good, they’re bedded in and ready for a promotion push next season 👌🏻

We are struggling for wingers, or anyone with a bit of flair for that matter...
I'll be absolutely done if we let Tyrhys Dolan go to Luton. It'd probably be for peanuts too.

Well, JDT asked for "experience" and he's got it...
Kyle McFadz has played hundreds of senior games, was in the stands when England lifted the World Cup, and saw the Beatles live before they got big. This fella is the epitome of experience.

I'd be happy with Louie Sibley or Max Bird to replace Wharton... however i'm also mindful that JRC, easily one of our best players, will have his eye on that CM spot.
Would it be better to sign a full-back right now and give JRC a chance to shine in the middle?

Shocking signing, bottom of the barrell.
Yet after thinking about it, I can only assume that;
- It's been done very cheap.
- He's happy to be backup - behind all of Hyam, Wharton and Carter.- 1

How much would Basel want for Liam Millar on a permanent do we think? He's quality.
Very unlikely, but how hilarious would it be if he had to terminate his loan with PNE early to come and sign for us 😄

Just seen that Louie Sibley and Max Bird both have contracts expiring at the end of the season, seems like a no-brainer to try and nab one of these (preferably Max) on the cheap after selling Adam?

A poster on here, who said Travis was going to Ipswich before anyone else knew mentioned it, confirmed we are looking at him.
Gregg will be really pushing the average age up if we sign this old man.
Yup, wouldn't surprise me at all to see us make the most underwhelming signing of all time, straight after selling the best talent that's ever come through our Academy for a record fee...

I keep seeing links to Kyle McFadzean...
I swear if we bring him in, at 36 years old, right after selling Adam... then I give up!

If Duncan McGuire ended up going to Wednesday, there'd be outrage. People would be saying we've missed out on the next big thing.
Now that it looks like we've won the race, he's suddenly the next George Hirst.
Bloody hell... if we sign him, just get behind the lad 👍

Maybe we've pulled out of Phillips to look at getting someone permanent? Hopefully.
This is my hope.
I feel pretty sure that Adam is going to be sold today, so we have money now.
I can only assume that we had "dream" targets on a list, that we couldn't afford - but with the Wharton money coming in...

An inkling. The magic number is 25M and they’re at 22M. They’ve this morning signed a right back and a striker, so Adam will be their priority.
Agreed.
If there's at least a 20% sell-on included, I wouldn't be surprised to see them take the £18m + £4m in add-ons.

Gallagher did well last night, but I can't ignore how many times i've rooted for him and ended up disappointed.
Yeah, he runs a lot and puts in effort... but his touch is shite, he's bad in the air, can't hold the ball up well and just doesn't have that natural striker's instinct. It's rare he pulls off a performance better than a 6/10.
We've had years worth of proof that he doesn't get you goals at this level, and you need goals from a number 9.
It's no coincidence, that he suddenly looks good, and it just so happens to be against League 2 opposition.
He'll probably get injured again in a few weeks... so take the £2m, free up his wages and buy the yank I say.

Relatively impressed given the opposition and time of day. Probably on a par with what we’d get for a regular league game on a weekday night.
You and I both! Expected way less

All tickets go off sale at 5.30 pm.
Damn, I was hoping that was just a rumour. Just checked and saw that it's official 👎
Oh well, still a reasonable turnout nonetheless, considering the opposition.

Gonna see how tomorrow plays out, but I know how it goes, and I think this is it for me regarding this Club.
Very dark days, we used to be something special that I was proud of - enough is enough.
