Honestly it’s as if a predetermined simulation is playing out. We all knew it was going to happen exactly like this. Venky’s and our ownership make my blood boil. -

So predictable. Knew we’d lose this game as soon as the bloody fixtures came out. Fuck Venky’s. Nothing but misery on what should be a day of celebration. -

Val needs to say whatever he did against Saints again. (If we’re lucky enough to go into the half 0-1) -

Argh a bad omen 😱 Good to see though! Hope the atmosphere is rocking today. I fear the worst. Victims of a Eustacing. Come on Pears - it’s now or never to silence your critics. We’re all rooting for you. Head: 0-1 (BBD) Heart: 3-0 (Ohashi, Ohashi, Morishita) COME ON ROVERS 🔵⚪️🌹 -

That’s a sobering thought. I think you already know the answer! It’s my 5 year old’s birthday unfortunately otherwise I’d be coming up for this one. -

Need to get Miller to put Morris in his place nice and early. -
Valérien Ismaël: Blackburn Rovers Head Coach

This is it. We have lost all these games, but Charlton and 2nd half of Sheff Utd aside, I think we’ve looked pretty good really. We’d be towards the top of the table with better refs (a few clear cut pens denied), less rain, and a better chance conversion. I backed us for top 6 when the odds mooned up, purely based on statistics and the eye test. Probably money in the bin but felt like positive expected value there. -

Just watched the highlights. Very smart run from Mori for the assist. Shields the defender off and picks out Yuki nicely. Think the best is yet to come from Mori while he finds his feet with the physicality of the EFL. -

GET INNNNNNNNNN Professional performance. Yuki: excellent Hedges: excellent Get in. Not so pleased about the injuries though. Edit to add: Miller, excellent! (Apart from the cock up) -

Not expecting anything on a Tuesday night at Ashton Gate. Taking anything away from here would be a great result and another very welcome surprise. COYB 🔵⚪️🌹 -

We never fucking beat these, even when it feels more “even” a match up, which it most certainly doesn’t feel like now. Not sure how I’d set up, but I’d probably look at what Wednesday and QPR did, and not do that. Dreading this one. Mind you, Boro were winning+scoring for fun last season and we went up there and got a win. Who knows. -

Just watched the highlights. My god how does Gudjohnson not score there. That’s twice this week he’s fumbled sitters. Nice assist from Cantwell and tidy from Kargbo. pleased with a point in the grand scheme of things -

I’m coming back up north for this one. Mainly because the wife’s away and don’t think I’ve got the patience to look after a baby and a toddler by myself so will seek refuge with the grandparents. There’ll be 3 generations at Ewood in my dad, me and my eldest. Pity the latest generation won’t get to experience what I got to in my youth (any time soon anyway). Unfortunately I haven’t watched Rovers win at home for a few years now (not through a lack of trying, just unlucky). Hopefully that spell can be broken but I don’t have my hopes up. I’m normally more glass half full but struggling to see how we survive this season at the moment.
