  1. Talking of decent strikers, I hear Trevor Francis has died (Birmingham City and Notts Forest) he new were the net was.
  2. Siggurdson out for 8 weeks with a groin strain!! is the injury curse on Rovers continueing into the new season. I will be at Ewood Saturday for the friendly against Girona. It sounds like a fun day out with Rovers trust taking over for the day, and I can check out the new boys see how they perform.
  3. I was told off somebody, they are playing a friendly against an Italian team. You can tell I played truant from Geography lessons at school, back behind the desk.
  4. Good point, but scoring can only improve there confidence.
  5. Good idea Pizza stall, might get a few Italians over for the friendly.
  6. Well done Youth Zone, for paying for childrens tickets who cant afford to go to the match. The children are the future of Blackburn Rovers.
  7. I can see a big crowd turning up for the friendly a week on Saturday. I will be there to see how the new boys perform and it sounds like a fun day with the Rovers Trust taking over for the day.
  8. It was nice to see Hedges and Dolan on the score sheet yesterday.
  9. Already JDT and his backroom staff are weaving a bit of magic, 2 strikers and a midfielder on their way. We could do with a decent right back, our weak point near the end of last season, left backs standing in for right backs. And a decent winger.
  10. If we end next season, like we have ended the last 2 seasons ( put up the white flag) it should be get in for nothing the last 2 months.
  11. I was on the same bus as some Sunderland supporters on the way to the Ewood fixture, a lot friendlier than some away supporters.
  12. I hope he does, he left the foundations for a decent Blackburn Rovers team in the future. You can only work with what you've got at cash strapped Rovers.
  13. You mentioned some supporters just go to have fun, unless i have got the wrong comment, if thats the case sorry.
  14. I see the Millwall scum trashed a few Rovers supporters coaches after the game. Scum like this dont deserve success.
  15. Utter rubbish, I was there against Luton the last home game I enjoyed the day but was gutted with the result. I am sure 99% of Rovers supporters felt the same.
  16. I said before the game it will be to much to ask the last game, all I wanted was a decent performance to end the season and Rovers certainly provided it. Lets get some prolific goal scorers in the Summer and resume business as usual next Season. Just one downer, we will have our work cut out hanging onto Adam Wharton.
  17. Sunderland play Preston away and W.B.A play Swansea away, all we have to do (we are sick of hearing it) is win our game. It's always been intimidating at Millwall, they are on a par with Chelsea. Lets hope our lads can block it out and concentrate.
  18. I enjoyed it at Ewood yesterday (the result could have been better) a big bank holiday crowd and a happy atmosphere. Heres to Rovers promotion next season.
  19. JDT once again stresses the impotance of the crowd for today, like the Hull, Coventry, Burnley matches. Big crowds turned up and were disappointed, its up to JDT and Bla ckburn Rovers to supply the goods and send the crowd home happy.
  20. It's in our own hands, win the last 2 big chance of the play offs. I would go with an all out attack formation, we ca'nt sit back any more we need to win the last 2.
  21. My thought exactly, if were not getting in the play offs, we might as well not get in them with Blackburn Rovers players who are commited to the club.
  22. It's simple for Rovers, win the last 2 or dream over till next season. I hope we can keep this squad together for next season, I reckon the only thing missing is a prolific goal scorer, and with Sean Kimberly back at Ewood I am optomistic in the Summer transfer window.
  23. I thought Rovers performance against burnley was brilliant, the only thing we lacked on the pitch was a prolific goal scorer. If we can find our scoring boots the last 2 matches, I reckon we can still make the play offs.
