I'm guessing Rovers have put it out there that they will re-enter talks with BBD over a new contract after the window shuts. A cynic might say this is a ruse to flush out interested buyers as Rovers want to sell this summer. This 'plan', however, has been scuppered by BBD's side as they have gone straight to SKY and told them he's not going to enter into talks after the window shuts.

I think the point is he's always wanted to leave, nothing has changed from 9 months ago when he first said he wasn't going to sign a new contract. It's just a re-hashing of a 9 month old story.

If you accept that 'athleticism' and the ability to close down 'intensely' for 90 mins is a pre-requisite for the JDT way, then it's not much of a stretch to suggest that Dack may not fit in to his plans. Just a theory of the non-conspiratorial variety.
