  1. This is a proper football manager take, so holding my hands up to it before I start it. But I do think when Kane plays like he did tonight (wanting to drop deep, back to goal, arrive late etc) he could do a job in the 10 role with a Toney or Watkins infront. Somewhat troubles the midfield situation as it forces Bellingham deeper though.
  2. Would you enjoy 3 Serbian giants elbowing you in the head for 90 minutes
  3. Christ alive 4 subs to our 0 and we sun Gallagher on because he tries hard. Mo Farah can run 5kms for fun let's stick him on
  4. Trippier naturally comes inside as does Foden, I'd be bringing some pace on for Foden by the 60th
  5. Saka proving pace is doing well down the right, Gordon brings that more than Foden. Wharton because he's from Blackburn, and Trent isn't called Declan Rice
  6. Very exciting high scoring games so far (until the first half at least) What's the over/under on a poor England performance and a 0-0 bore-athon
  7. The agent for the young northern Irish signing is the same guy who represents Dipepa (sp) at Port Vale. Would be leaning on that a bit myself
  8. Is there something funny about putting a man famed for heading the ball who's no doubt got repeated head injuries in charge of our operations?
  9. 'Head of' is such a vague new business term to inflate roles and deflated salaries. At least it's not Sensei or Grandmaster following the Guru shite of previous. Rudi in, Ruddy in - could Van Nistelroy solve our striker crisis? What is Gestedes impressive business history as mentioned in the Instagram, not to discredit him but genuinely curious. Is it better or worse than being involved in Norwich's golden generation and then the best run club in Scandinavia of recent. If so, I wonder if he will work with an even further cut budget.
  10. Get with the times, it's Sensei Waggot now
  11. Guru Nanak, a founding Guru of Sikhism, meditated for 3 days under a tree before his revelation that all this is is God, and all there ever is was God. Guru Owen shall meditate until the end of summer window post court case, before his own revelation - that there is no money to spend and there never was
  12. What's the odds on us being priced out of Ruddy and ending up with Connor Ripley
  13. A cynic might suggest that with a CV like the new technical directors (tbc) he may be better at playing the corporate game and job hopping than you know.. the actual job - "what am I here for again?"
  14. If we are looking for more revenue we could stream the Devante Cole , Steve Waggot negotiations
  15. My only slight reluctance is how similar he is to Leonard.
  16. Made up names here but players I'd be asking on if we are looking in the bargain bucket McAtee (from Luton) Joe Taylor (from Luton) OConnor (from Lincoln) Freddie Draper (from Lincoln) Sorensen (from Lincoln) Jordi Jones (from Notts C) Lawal (from Celtic) Wiredu (from Fleetwood) Azeez (from reading) Armstrong (Kilmarnock) Phillips (St Johnstone) Leonard (from Brighton - not against Ayari if we can get some ownership) All with a viewing to making up the match day squad, not necessarily starting 11. All cheap and have something about that, men's game experience and some scope for development (barring the loans)
  17. I know you've said dont jump on you but Christ alive, Ndidi and Ohare? Or do they have cousins
  18. Don't think the manager could get a tune out of me
  19. Speak for yourself, I'm coming in with no transfer fee but I want my singing on fee to reflect this
  20. In fairness he's done that with Sam Morsy as captain too. Scientists have spent years attempting to see if we are in a simulation and McKenna has proved it in 24 months - it's just the simulation a Kieran McKenna football manager save
  21. If Gally was half the player other clubs seem to think he is Pele would be in his garden padding his goals scored record
  22. Not meaning this as a dig at chaddy as he gets too much grief in my book, but the most consistently funny thing on this forum is the way a player gets linked and then becomes Chaddy's solution. Never mentioned Ugbo before and now we will hear nothing but his name till September
  23. Where do they sit in respect to Indian politics, Modi and the lack of majority going forward? Sods law suggests the uncertainty will confuse future funding further
