    Yes he had a shocker of the game but don’t for one minute think there is anything malice in it. Just a poor performance from him that got worse. For me the manager is more at fault, Dom was struggling and should have been taken off at half time and replaced by Carter.

    I think we would have been better keeping DJ in charged. I have not been convinced yet by Eustace but hope he can steer us away from bottom end of table and start a fresh next season

    The deal hasn’t even been announced officially yet and likely will be in instalments so not exactly going to get 18m up front.

    I just hope that after all the press led rumours we can get the deal done. Would look forward to him coming to club. Interesting few hours ahead to get deals done. None of us actually know what has happened so am not going to make a judgement on it. So many moving parts to a transfer deal.

    It means that JDT, Broughton and the scouting team may as well leave if the Venky’s won’t sanction transfers as there is nothing they can do without that.

    Not had that kind of money coming in since Gregg came in so let’s hope something changes to give us all hope.

    I wonder if the plan (if they have one) is to be competitive until the summer then use the Wharton money to improve the squad in a window which is easier to get players I.e good frees but offer increased wages etc

    My point was that JDT wasn’t playing Travis so he was moved out. Similar to Buckley in the summer. We all know the issues with Venkys and don’t disagree with your points regarding them

    Have we not learnt yet that most of our signings are kept in house these days without any or little mention in the press. Way it should be also.

    Hurst just didn’t settle which happens sadly but has gone on to do well at Ipswich.

    As long as we are compensated for these players that’s the way to try and increase revenue in the club, hopefully allowing the club to reinvest in players to ensure we have a more rounded squad. Big if with owner issues, but let’s see what we manage to do in next couple of days.

    The sell on clause is essential, but worries that non of the reports so far have mentioned this being included.
