  1. I think you're right Al, which is why the FL had to wait for QPR to be relegated in order to pursue it. At some point in the future a Club is going to successfully challenge this in the European Courts. It is a restriction of trade. In no other area of business would a wealthy individual be prevented from investing in a business they own. Wether it would make good business sense is another thing, but in football terms it directly can affect the success of the Club if they are prevented from investing in the squad, Rovers being a good example. All this rule does is fix in and protect the monopoly of the Big Clubs. It will be there for all to see when Leicester play in the 'Champions' League next season.
  2. The Football League obviously don't see the irony of fining a Club £8m for not sticking within the spending rules.
  3. He's too busy sorting his Champions League Final Tickets.
  4. We needn't fear the success of others, just our own ineptitude...
  5. Good luck to Stanley, but with Venkys in charge, Rovers have no one to fear but themselves...
  6. Fine Time - New Order (Quite like the you tube clips. Gives you a chance to hear new tracks and bands)
  7. Get over yourself. Here's an interesting link for FUP https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fair_Use_Project
  8. Venkys still think we're in the Premiership, according to their Venkys London web site. And I'm quite sure they have no idea what day it is the rest of the time.
  9. The last train on Saturdays is only 11pm, or at least it used to be. Been stranded in Manchester loads of times after gigs and usually end up having to stay over or shell out £50 on a taxi! Edit : just realised I answered that post assuming you were coming back from Manchester and it doesn't actually say that . But the point stands, public transport sucks!
  10. Football is organised and governed by utter f**k wits.
  11. Probably not the best compilation to pick. This is better.https://youtu.be/rMPflZoIkio He definitely knew where the goal was.
  12. Had some top weekends at BH, but it is becoming a victim of its own success. It's grown considerably since it started and while it's remained independent it's just to busy these days. Same with Glastonbury its a terrible festival now, simply too big to really enjoy the acts and getting around
  13. New Order - Waiting For The Sirens Call (Planet Funk Mix)
  14. I'd add Burnley, Home although I think we were the better team in that game anyway. And I think Derby at Home 0-0 was winnable then and defo winnable now. Whats that, say 12-14 points extra? That puts us in the play offs. Its all what ifs of course and we probably shouldn't do it.
