  1. I don’t mind your lady calling it out what I do mind is her being vague if your going to say your glad then tell us why as I said earlier without something from yeah Buckley or Leonard then it’s a case of ‘he said/she said’ if it’s me I’m doing what Isak done and I’m coming out fighting my corner
  2. On the Travis deal I’m glad that’s it over I’m glad he got his message in too hopefully we can draw a line under it and move on it will be months/years before we’re likely to find out what’s gone on behind the scenes but the deal is now done so that’s the end of that chapter for now all the best to the lad will be missed his leadership was second to none and a big character and a great player to go to battle with
  3. Who is poor after 3 games really? hull at the time were unbeaten in their two games one being away at Coventry who have scored 12 in 2 can we not just enjoy a win anymore and try and find some hope going forward
  4. Any signing we have made this off season I personally don’t think should be judged until around Halloween good or bad but you can have an opinion on why say a McLaughlin will be good based on the fact he has played champ level football for a while and has been reliable as for the last few comments regarding results this season Kieran McKenna the most touted efl manager about has drew two lost two this season one against Bromley - it’s just too early for judgement in general
  5. I get both sides of this argument with the off season we have had and the negative noise surrounding the club and how it’s being run etc for me the Bradford game after losing the opening game was a chance to relieve some of the pressure I wasn’t expecting so many changes and it told in the end (see Stoke last night) but yes we pretty much changed our whole team and the early stages of efl cup matches plenty of championship teams bow out so it’s not a real fair reflection
  6. Alfie jones and Charlie Hughes in front of him two pretty good centre halves Id actually say it’s a compliment that hull continued to play McLaughlin at left back they obviously knew his worth to the team
  7. 100% I hope he does too. However if he doesn’t then it’s leaves more questions than answers. Personally don’t see how/why he wouldn’t if he genuinely feels he’s been let down
  8. I have to disagree on this if your a player who has played at a club pretty much their whole career and has captained them and you feel there is wrong doing from the club regarding events and possibly damaging your rep/image at the club then why not say something? If that’s me and I ‘haven’t’ refused to play and the club has ‘suspended’ me for pretty much nothing then I would be looking to set the story straight. Plenty of players in the past have called out their club/manager regarding their situations I don’t see why this should be any different I do agree there’s two sides to every story but if the other side is never told then it’s hard to come to any confident conclusion
  9. My biggest question is why hasn’t Travis come out with a statement yet?
  10. Their spending power and signings if they are around top 6/8 come Jan yiu know they can/will go all out
  11. Today by all accounts media etc has been done and they had a match last night
  12. Just because your of an older generation doesn’t make it wrong it’s common now players being tagged with their Twitter handle there was nothing wrong with anything they have done at all. It’s fine if it isn’t for you but it doesn’t mean it is wrong
  13. Honestly of all the things the club has wrong with it some of the stuff this last couple of hours is literally just moaning for no apparent reason
  14. Or thanks for your service for 20 years John it’s now time for a change. The last 4 managers haven’t seen enough in you to warrant continuing on so we think it’s best for all parties if we went our separate ways. Good luck to you in the future
  15. Well you said after 30mins of watching him you had him down as a rudderless speedboat with no end product and has done nothing since to convince you otherwise whilst he is going to be frustrating (I don’t use the match day thread) sat perfectly showed how his pace opens up space for others and that assist was lovely he’s raw but there’s something in him and he will frustrate and will likely take time but to say you have seen nothing in him is pretty strange especially after sat
  16. You mustn’t have watched Saturdays game then?
  17. Eustace is gone let’s revisit come May as to his credentials he’s had full pre season he’s been backed so no excuses exact same with val
  18. The striker link is miles off I’d suggest. No way we’re paying or offering anywhere near close to 5mill for a player (as much as I’d like us to) that fella will be at some other club in the next couple of days
  19. It’s way too early to make any judgement on whether or not players are being or will/wont be missed iv said this from the start new environments for all transferred players especially at champ level or below doesn’t auto transfer previous form. Batth a rock for us last season by all accounts Derby fans want him out of the team already but he was great for us. Weimann scored important goals for us again Derby fans saying he’s done so it’s about the now as opposed to the past but 4 games shouldn’t really be a gage of anything Ipswich sheff u Norwich qpr Wrexham all bottom 6/8 at present and not performing particularly well and for the most part a lot of the fans/management for the teams above citing new players and needing time
  20. Celtic board wouldn’t stump up the cash as for the rest of no idea
  21. We weren’t going to offer them big deals at their age rightly or wrongly and Derby were its not a case of grass is greener it’s just a simple fact and as for me giving up on the contracts it’s not wrong it’s my opinion. None will sign were in full reset mode
  22. They wanted two more years on the terms we were offering. Probably got similar for one year at Derby iv gave up on the contract situation it’s quite clear this is a full reset
  23. If they knew he was going why would they care/pay I’d assume poor all round and yes no coincidence that Travis goes and one comes in begs the question of this right winger
  24. What I don’t understand is if he has been their top target all summer why not sign him early July and get the minor surgery then? On the same deal we have now encase it doesn’t work out? Seems like pretty much 2 months wasted on what was clearly our top target
  25. There isn’t any more left other than hyam and tronstad and reports recently have stated both are happy and not looking to leave - the rest are new players they won’t care too much cantwell given captaincy will keep him for the season carter always injured won’t be much interest wharton the same Buckley will go Leonard too
