Baradji has been rudys top target all summer which means that the Travis saga has now come to an end awful way for someone like him to go and likely we won’t get the right story anyhow still no further on with this right winger which is quite frankly draining

It’s a difficult one there’s clearly ndas in play for the managers who have moved on - they won’t break those for obvious reasons as for players if the club haven’t did anything ‘wrong’ it’s defamation. Whilst most rovers would agree how the running of our club is pretty much shambolic they haven’t done anything ‘wrong’ cost cutting whilst we hate it and it’s obvious it’s their club they can choose to do that lack of contract offers or reasonable offers again they can choose to do that hiring of staff not qualified for the role again their club their choice even if they brought to light the harsh treatment of valued staff etc like Radcliffe did at United the scrutiny lasts about 2/3 days then forgot about it’s so hard

Both can be true I find it hard to accept Tom Bloxham is bitter towards rovers beyond anything other than his own failings produced little to none at youth level over a number of years failed at Harrogate and is yet to be picked up by any club in the football pyramid there’s a lot of obvious failings at the club but I don’t take his comment as telling, if it came from someone with relative success like say gamble who commented above I’d probably read more into it

That’s why I think there’s been a delay tbh, I don’t think the banked on needing two. The Miyoshi interest was weeks before he came on for Bochum. Baradji has always been their number 1 target so it’s going to be interesting to see how that plays out

Miyoshi as the need is greater on that position we simply can’t have hedges being the starting right winger offers next to nothing going forward - has his defensive capabilities but we need more attacking output

The only reason he is being let go is because he has a slot - it’s inept from the club what will be more inept is if we sign koji miyoshi knowing we didn’t need to free up a spot if we signed him before he came on for Bochum over a week ago or we sign Baradji who I think is rudys top target and he’s not ready to kick a ball until oct/nov time so of the two positions were after only one slot available so one will need to meet the criteria and going by the summer recruitment so far I think their struggling

Your missing the bigger picture the reason we need all these spots is because we’re signing unknowns from lesser leagues meaning they have less points so from that standpoint a club like rovers with billionaire owners I don’t think it’s unreasonable that we would expect our ‘marquee’ signing to be more established and not requiring a slot but here we are meaning a young lad (good enough or not is turfed to the side not because of ability it’s because he holds that slot if he didn’t he wouldn’t be released at all) Now I’m not caring either way but it’s another poor showing from rovers end I feel

Well there can be- start signing more established players and not taking punts on 90% of our signings from abroad - we’re effectively getting rid of mafoumbi and likely signing another mafoumbi type

Could say that about a lot of the u21s they aren’t released though it’s only him because he takes up a slot just highlights the gross mismanagement currently on going at rovers

Your missing the point I’m making I’m saying he’s being shafted because of our clubs new needs of buying players who don’t qualify for the slots. If we were to sign an experienced winger who knows the league or is of decent quality we wouldn’t be in this position So he is being shafted - whether he’s good enough is a different conversation
