  1. Sidnei Tivares next through the door by a few posters
  2. No doubt next signing will be Woodrow 😔
  3. Forshaw signing back is underwhelming. He Still got the nod to see games out before Buckley and JRC. If both the latter are sold and another Midfielder comes in then I can see the logic. But this is Rovers
  4. Pears does not take any pressure off the defence at all. To claim a cross or to come to edge of area to claim a ball takes the the pressure off and preserves energy. Multiple times last season the fullbacks had to chase the ball in to our box with pears glued to his line. I don’t think there’s anyway back for him, once you lose the trust of your teammates as a goalkeeper you lose your spot
  5. Another target to add to we tried list. Don’t know why we employ a recruitment team. Chasing unrealistic targets in the hope they feel sorry for us and except low ball offers
  6. We are going Marvel. Link on X saying we have been offered Antman
  7. Rovers selling youngsters as they don’t want to wait for compensation. Finneran still not settled and it’s been near enough a year, Tyjon will be next, Dolan comp will probably not be received this window. Ball ache trying to replace these players even if we intend to
  8. If Travis doesn’t get the money he wants then I wouldn’t say that’s his Rovers career done. Could take Dolans stance and see out his contract. Get more than enough season after as a free, and wouldn’t put it past these owners for allowing him to do it
  9. The club put themselves in this position with the Cantwell signing. Apart from 10 games or so last season he was a show pony. If he is on 10-15 k more than the top performers at the club there is no surprise they will want to bridge the gap.
  10. Whether Nixons story is True or not it doesn’t change the fact that they both should be given fresh terms. Cantwell by far the biggest earner and only got going towards end of season. Travis and Brittain are the heartbeat of this squad, what both players bring on and off the field can not be replaced in the market we shop in. If we have to sacrifice a signing to bump up the wages they deserve then so be it. Will it disrupt the team… who knows. But losing both of them definitely will
  11. Agree, Travis will be hard to replace. He bleeds Rovers And would tackle his grandmother to get the ball. His influence on the squad and club as a whole can not be replaced
  12. There could be some more fees coming in with Telalovic sell on, still waiting on Finneran compensation, And Reps are currently in talks with Arsenal about Tyjon fee. Wouldn’t be surprised if we make some small purchases to fill the u21s as well.
  13. Been ruthless this seasons end with very few offered fresh terms. There’s a few more like. Buckley and JRC to get off the books as they didn’t feature much last season. Could clearly see the ones VI didn’t have confidence in. Side needs refreshing and we can’t just hold on to players who can’t even compete for a place. Latest windows have been a failure but got a feeling we will refresh a lot this summer. Won’t spend a lot but think we will get a few permanent signings in
  14. We defended better with Batth in the set up. 2 year deal is a must. Weimann on the other hand would be a gamble. Might not be the same player after latest surgery. Another setback and that’s a wasted squad spot and wages
  15. Wonder if we will go back in for Marwan AL Sahafi for the right wing. His agent spoke of our interest in January along with QPR.
  16. Agree with you. For a winger you expect them to be able to create chances.Hedges creates little,His best attribute is against the top sides, Personally I think he works well with the fullback, played a big part in our big wins last season. He’s not everyone’s cup of tea but he also makes intelligent runs off the ball which opens space for others. But we do need better quality
  17. I think Hedges would work well with Brittain down that channel. Hedges can cut inside or play Callum in for the cross. Plus offers good defensive duties
  18. Just get the feeling that latest purchases apart from Ohashi don’t fit in VI plans. De Neve signed for a fee when we’ve paid a fee for Kargbo in January. Throw Hedges in the mix that’s 3 for one spot. The latter well liked by the manager. Linked to Watford striker but can’t see it at that price but shows we are looking for a striker, with Fees already spent on Ohashi and Gueye. Think there could be a few shock sales this window
  19. Rooney,Gerrard,Bruce,Page, fingers and toes crossed it’s none of these names……a deal till the end of season also being touted. Do we really want to be looking for a new manager and 50% of squad players at the same time
  20. I’m aware of what you have stated above. As for his dress code, your asking the wrong person
  21. Simon Jordan with a lot to say. Gives you a different perspective of the other side. I do agree with one part and that is if he’s not 100% committed to the job let him go. We need someone who wants to be here and oversee the squad rebuild in the summer. We can not as a club plan ahead with this uncertainty hanging over us. No players left so a massive overhaul is needed regardless. Hate the owners, Hate the board, Hate the regime, but we still need this done to compete
  22. If Eustace goes I don’t think he will be replaced by a manager. Be another coach who will have to make do with what we have. Squad will need rebuilding in the summer with loans/freebies and whatever youth to fill the gaps. Wouldn’t be surprised if Damian Johnson is promoted
  23. Needed those players 6 games ago. If they wasn’t up to speed then they would be by now with a few extra points on the board. Swag and co have still failed the manager on this reason alone
  24. No doubt we had to sell keeper earlier to pay the 30% wages for this Dennis Deal
  25. This could be the making of Cantwell
