  1. Need to have banners outside to boycott a future fixture. Just so people get the message and have these outside the clubshop, outside the Riverside and outside JW stand so everyone can see. Or project it. How did Wednesday get the message out en mass?
  2. Damn shame it got to that point. As I said in another thread these historic teams ought to be protected and bought by owners that have proven love for the club. It's like buying a historic cricket team in India and ruining the history
  3. There has to be some underlying "well fk the fans for calling us all names and protesting and this that n the other" there has to be a grudge of some sort surely
  4. Terry Genoe did alot for the club behind the scenes after retiring. He welcomed hundreds of school kids into education schemes and health and fitness in the community all under the Blackburn Rovers football club scheme. He probably developed a heck of alot of future fans back then through that effort.
  5. Aye I know bout 3 times. Not enough people to pass it about just looks stupid passing a postage stamp about the empty seats that says PrIdE oF LaNcAsHiRe on it... no pride left.
  6. And that isn't to say people can't support someone else. People do it for different reasons social aspect, feeling of involvement etc many reasons. I just couldn't personally
  7. https://rovers.co.uk/news/2025/october/23/quartet-to-be-honoured-against-the-saints/ New caps honours
  8. https://rovers.co.uk/news/2025/october/23/quartet-to-be-honoured-against-the-saints/ New caps honours 👏👏👏⚽️
  9. Cheers will listen to this at work tomorrow
  10. I'd rather quit football altogether than support another team. Born here, Live here, work here it's all I know. Just don't think I could cheer a goal for another club would be very strange
  11. Looking at Rovers 0 Southampton 8
  12. I know that's how I felt. I know football peak and troughs but ours has trenched. Strange being on the other side of the fun. Not pleasant at all.
  13. Managed to walk around the CBS on Saturday there's so much going on loads of new additions to bring the fans in, yes they are doing well on the pitch but looks like they have a superb home there. The club shop is a decent size with some smart gear on offer, the prematch build up is brilliant, they've found their calling with their new pregame song, and a flag that dwarfs ours, their screen/scoreboard is massive and plays previous games and player intros, really builds the hype and gets everyone going. I love wild Rover and have enjoyed our jumobtron but I think its all getting dated. VENKYSOUT we need a refresh
  14. 1904 Rovers v Villa Mitchell and Kenyon collection
  15. Wouldn't go that far. Perhaps pub scout at the Brown Cow
  16. Some incredibly moving lines in that song. It's strange because in my head I'm watching the game sat in the stands ...but it black and white. The old boys playing their hearts out...grainy images of moustached gentlemen heading a ball, thousands of people crammed in waving their hats... then the pitch is empty. The stands are empty. Right back to work. Possibly the worst week in a while for a Rovers fan
  17. Whys there a lump in my throat 😥 Those words hotdogs n beer resonate with me. me stood with a pint and my daughter eating a hotdog watching a club disintegrate. Before our eyes, feeling ripped off. Pissed off and out of pocket
  18. One end of the pitch was the start of an incline so ever so slightly went up at one goal mouth
  19. Can people start printing these perhaps 10 or 20 per person? To hand out?
  20. This ought to be on a banner Derby day or something we can all hold up
  21. Also fascinating, see Key: O memory stone of Nancy Hasler, amongst her best clients were footballers. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/news/5864730.memory-nancy-set-stone/
