What's the latest excuse ? Too cold ? Shirt the wrong colour. The England v France game was just the latest bore fest. Can somebody explain to me why as soon as England in particular get they ball the kick it to the opposition ? Much as I'd like to give the Welsh a caning if we play like we've done up to now we'll get dicked.

You ever tried their Steak? Apparently heard good reviews but never got round to trying it.
I keep threatening to try other dishes but as soon as I look at the menu I can't see beyond the " Sea Food Special " ! I've got to say I'm not a big steak eater.
i saw Accrington Pals too. It's meant to be dreary but I find it forgets the fact that even in the worst of circumstances you can still have a laugh. Wasn't the best show this season at the Exchange. Orpheus descending was the outstanding production of this season's 4. Do we have a theatre review thread?
It's a while since I saw something outstanding there and I go regularly. " Raisin In The Sun " was the last really good production.

I went to Zouk in Manchester on Saturday. For me the best Indian restaurant in central Manchester. I had my usual- Zouk special sea food curry- it's mega, I could eat it every day of the week.
Off to the Royal Exchange later to see " The Accrington Pals ". This was not so good, the cast did their best but it was a bit dreary. My paper gave it 4 stars but I'd only give it 3.

There's nothing new under the sun. Read " The Jungle " by Upton Sinclair. It was written about the Chicago stockyards and meat production 100 years ago, but everything in it rings true today. Without spoiling the plot a worker falls into a huge vat of meat and is processed along with the beef !

I watched the first half of Ireland v England. I fell asleep at half time. And that was the exciting bit. Seriously, do they practice giving a pass and taking a pass ? I can't believe how often Ireland in particular dropped the ball in the first half.

More action/skill/pain/determination/speed/handling/excitement in 10 minutes than you will see in the entire six nations.
A good contrast between two teams the opposite ends of the squad life cycle.
Yeah, Rugby Union. What is it for ? The handling and passing is atrocious. If they didn't turn a blind eye to obvious forward passes you'd hardly ever get a try.
