No it means the teams that most people put money on will be the shortest odds, which is the case. Not everybody puts money on the team they support see. Fulham are performing very well in Europe, they won 3-0 away against a decent side, the fact that they are playing pants in the league is a side point, they probably deserve to be 16-1. Due to their performances people are putting money on them.

I've already been called ignorant and condescending on this forum for suggesting that pretty football wins nothing. interestingly i've just noticed the latest odds on the Uefa cup. Ladbrokes have Celtic at 16-1 to win it.(this is clearly not going to happen before someone jumps down my throat). however the mighty "premiership" playing Blackburn are 40-1. this leads me to 3 possible conclusions 1)Ladbrokes are wrong (have you ever met a skint bookie!) 2)Ladbrokes are ignorant and condescending towards Blackburn and clearly don't understand that they have such a great side (especially Tugay!) 3) Blackburn are not likey to get through this tie. ...if only the "ignorant" bookies could see that we're only a nationwide "pub" team eh.... hail hail It means lots of people are putting money on an overrated Celtic team. Well done lads, heard more from the Rovers fans then the "best fans in the world". Listening to pre-match on Radio5 and they kept commenting on how impressive the noise coming from the Blackburn fans was.

Thought Cole was rubbish last night, never should have come on, the rest of the team felt they had to give him the ball and it ruined our good build up play. When he did get it he couldn't make anything of the possession because he was a good yard of the pace. Yorke had a great game though. What I feared would happen did, celtic sat back and ours forwards were incapable of working an opening.

If Agathe is playing though we won't beat him for speed unless on counter-attack, hopefully Celtic don't sit back or we will have to hope for some good interplay from the forwards. Gillespie could shred Alan Thompson if he gets a chance though.

While its great that Celtic get such support, remember that they have basically half of Scotland and the whole of Ireland for a catchment area. Considering the size of Blackburn I say its as impressive if Rovers manage to sell out a game as Celtic get 100000.

I know but I felt the need to have a go at the clubs staff with the absolute mess they made of the Celtic allocation despite us telling them exactly what would happen.

I imagine the people going on about us having enough tickets feel silly now, how about you give your tickets to some of the poor unfortunates who missed out? I'd be rightly annoyed now if I had planned to go. No you won't, they wouldn't let me in the Darwen End on Saturday with my tricolour, Celtic scarf or even the Rovers-v-Celtic scarf they are selling in the club shop on. Apparently the tricolour is an offense to football, I nearly decked the steward when I heard that, lucky it was a women or I might have spent the game in the holding cells.

If they are going to pay that much they will probably be able to get about 20000 in our ground. I expect they will be better behaved than the Citeh fans though
