[Archived] Cardiff Replay Ticket Prices - ?24 !
Flopsy replied to laughatthedingles's topic in Football Messageboard Archive
Rovers might not have had a choice - its intereesting the announcement was made straight after the game - not a lot of time to organise it, unles it had been agreed before hand -
or hand in his 4 week notice like us mere mortals - accepted we could be sacked/made redundant but we would (well my contract says) I would have 4 weeks notice at least from the company

both goals were shown and that was it. Every other game had some kind of analysis/report over it - I think that something happened so they could only have BBC Wales commentator on it. Oh well. You didint miss much Paul - I would like ot have seen whether we should have had that goal. -

Just got back home. Points 1) Great day, had a great time inthe Landsdowne Pub before hand, TErracing is always fun, absolutely no trouble and just good natured banter, except for some sad pricks (one of which in a Glasgow Rangers Shirt) who thought the IRA were involved in the game and that we shouldnt give in to them. Sad tossers. 2) MGP in the first half was very good. 2nd half was non existent 3) Matteo. What has Mickey Gray done to Hughes, if he thinks Matteo is better than Gray im very very worried. Couldnt pass, couldnt control his only redeeming feature is he can kick seven shades of brown stuff out of the opposition. 4) We werent that good today, but last 15 minutes we battered Cardiff, had a goal disallowed, hit the bar, and had most of the possession, before that we were in trouble. 5)Mokeana - looks quite good - is tall and Lanky like Viera, made some good tackles and passes, cant shoot 6) Shagger - brilliant performance, cant shoot 7) Thompson - set up the first goal, was a livewire all game, always willing to shoot, can shoot 8) Todd and Johanson - Great 9) Friedal - whoops, should have saved it 10) Dickov - right pest, god love him 11) Stead - oh dear 12 Gallagher - changed the game for us 13) Hughes - substitutions actually came at times when they made impacts. MGP took his chance well interesting to see whether he starts next game. All in all had a great day and met some new people Rach "The Pink" Rover etc come on Rovers lets beat em at Ewood -

Rovers to lose -
as far as i can tell (I had to slip on my tweed jacket with leather elbow patches) the sumatra earthquake was so powerful because the earth shifted in a vertical motion, either up or down - this would cause the waves we saw - a sideways motion although causing waves would have been nowhere near as bad. I think Anyway - its interesting how all the Nazi/shark channels (551+ on Sky) are showing that Horizon documentary called Meg aTusnamis - makes this one look like a small ripple.

nice to hear from you Bluebirds - does this mean that Cardiff City fans will welcome us with open arms and not beat seven shades of pooh out of us if they get a chance. And will my inflatable sheep be safe? -
hmmm hope there is an apostrophe missing in that sentence

I for one will not crucify any country for the amount of money they pledge if they help in another way. How much is the logistics to get the aid to those in need going to cost? The cost for sticking military equipment (including ships/planes/personel) to the disaster area, sorting out Air Traffic Control, removing aircraft from runways which hit cows. The actuall money put forward by these countries' governments - US and UK for example might not be the most cash - but you'll probably find that they are the most help. The thing that will save the most lives is to get the aid to the people who need it, not stacked in piles at airstrips across the regions. The UK is also paying for all this country's aid agencies flights to get the aid over there. Oh and should Tony have come back from his holidays? In my opinion, no. The relief effort was being run effectively from the DFID offices (believe it or not they were) and the Deputy Prime Minister kept blair informed, plus what exactly could he do? Be all sincere? Make a statement be seen to be handson, that would have just been seen as an attempt to make political gain. a lose lose situation.
