  1. bellamy is set to be unleashed! biggrin.gif

his partner should be pongolle........... TURBO BOOST!

(although bentley was our best player at WBA),

tugay will be replaced by reid. unsure about this. yes reid battles, but he passes to the oposition more than his own team!

i know tugay wasnt good on sat. but who's going to keep possession and provide the service for pongolle and bellamy? savage and reid?

    1-0 rovers will do me!

  2. Worst performance I've seen since we've come back up.  There is no way Im going to the Everton game after wasting my money on that ######. Pathetic! None of them even tried, no one!

greggk:- you should hear yourself! you sound like a proper bandwagon jumper!

i was there on sat. bad day at the office, that's all!

no excuse for losing the faith.

the team this year has surpassed all expectations and deserve more support.

we should take a lead from the west brom fans, 23, 000, got behind their team from the start and never stopped singing and shouting. it was there 12th man (maybe 13th, shocking linesman on the east stand) and i wish ewood could be as loud! sad.gif

  3. Good strong player, plenty of pace, but often very inconsistant, and never had any real competition for his place and it began to show, although there's glimpses of the real Emerton shining thru again. I reckon he's gonna show strong in the run up to the World Cup.

watching him on weds i thought "he's trying a bit more" then i realised world cup only weeks away!

reflects badly on him, hope he has a good world cup and we can sell him for a profit!

  4. Surely!, SURELY! SURELY! the folk of Blackburn will come in increasing numbers to watch us now wont they? unsure.gif

We had just under 18,000 home supporters there last night to witness that magnificent game and for what is traditionally the biggest fixture of the season.

Its poor......Look at it from whatever angle you want, make excuses, patch it up any way you like but it MUST improve for the sake of the clubs future.

i'd say the crowd last night was calculated wrongly. i didnt see 6,000 empty seats from where i was. (riverside), maybe they were all in there ?

  5. really proud rovers fan today. couldnt fault any of the players (including gray and tugay, mistakes happen and they've both been superb this season).

for the 1st time in years, we have a team that'll sweat blood for blackburn rovers.

their fitness and desire is immeasurable.

fans were brilliant, lets have more of that kind of vocal support, particularly at home!!!

one last thing, how many crates of carling is graham poll gonna rec've for giving the big club a helping hand?

  6. i recommend all football fans read this book :-

Broken Dreams: Vanity, Greed and the Souring of British Football

    by Tom Bower.

it'll shed more light into the murky dealings on a few of 'football's loveable rogues'

ie, bates, venables and harry redknapp.

redknapp has an 8 million pound house, that from a guy who's managed, bournemouth, west ham, pompey and saints?

i wonder why he ships players in an out all the time? hmmmmmmm. blink.gif

  7. i dont feel good about it, but i'm not going (out of protest). it's not as if they need the money!

if all premiership fans (apart from the big clubs) boycotted the bridge it might make them think!

i only tend to miss one away game a season, newcastle away, due to the horrendous view, unfortunately it'll be two this year. mad.gif
