just bought FM2006, and a 360 to play it on (faster than pc versions).
manager of derby and have made a very impressive start- 2nd in championship and hardly spent any money.
iverson and maniero, both free transfers, have been exceptional.
loving it! but couple of slight critisisms -
1. is poor sound effects. they used authentic chants on the old champ mans (on the last xbox version 02/03.
2. do the prem teams not have player photos ? the top euro clubs are on but
been unable to find prem 1's. (settings ? )
3. rovers have bought gerald sibon! ?

doubt it with our much meligned ticket policies, blackburnians will struggle to get in. easier to get in fort knox than ewood.
if i get accosted by a spiv, on my way to the ground, i might flog my ticket for a few quid!

i bet 'the walking soundbite' is gutted. was waiting to see him offer them 'free' pies if they stop up.

Lee,
It was mentioned some week's ago on here about current season ticket holder's having to retain this season's ticket swipe card's for next season as the club would not be issuing new one's....can you clarify this situation please?
To the best of my knowledge there has still been NO official statement from the club regarding this rumour!
not a rumour. was advised when i rang up to renew to "keep the old cards, they'll just be re-activated."
good idea, i reckon, will save rovers a few bob aswell!

Does anybody know of an online bookies where I can bet on next England manager?
It seems most have suspended betting now that Scolari looks very likely to become manager, but I have a feeling he might turn the offer down. In any case, I was hoping I might get some very good odds betting on McClaren.
save your money! ;big phil's got the gig!

got mine! there's a shock!

well researched scott.
the only thing that could let gav down now is the blackburn public (games on sky now)- a defeat at charlton jepordise it somewhat.
looking good though.

Funny that the players have to be english to represent England, but the man running the show can be from anywhere. Still, looking at the English alternatives, Gene Hackman should definitely get the job.
McClaren's post match interviews are so hopelessly 'staged' it's untrue. Allardyce shoots his mouth off to quickly and would look ridiculous in front of the world's press.... Mike Bassett anyone ?
gene hackman... like it.
'big phil' is the only creditable candidate (o'neil obviously isnt interested). his cv is excellent, he's a strong character and (whereas sven shyed away from making tough decisions) he thrives on risk- taking. he dropped a 13M rated right-back and subbed figo, in the euros, showing he doesnt stand on ceramony/ reputation.
**beckham will still be picked tho- the fa rake in too much from sponsorship to even consider dropping him.
looks like my prediction of mcc being a 'red herring' wasnt too far off the mark.
i hope they spend their winnings wisely.

agreed! 2nd best player we've got.
MGP's goals have masked some average displays, but think where we'd be without his goals.
he hasnt performed consistantly, away from home, and needs to work on that.
trying to score from every corner is infuriating. he also needs to get more involved in build-ups, but that might take away his goalscoring edge.

apologies, paying to price for trying to be precise! amo people should be more sympathetic (to todd) in that case!
had short in mind. maybe he had a similar run in ?.... likely.
thanks for reminding me about the liverpool game. 4-0 battering (over before half-time) and a parking ticket for my trouble (after being told where to park by a 'busy!').

age might be the decisive factor, but tonight is made for milan. they're my 2nd team, i was taken to watch them in '89, (whilst on my hols)- gullit, van basten etc... - theyre also back in with a shout for the scudetto aswell.
forza rossineri!

gav, gav, gav, gav, gav
the reason he refused:- was that he was picked on the friday afternoon, with short on the bench. team -sheets went in, as usual and short was in instead of him. no explanation by souness and when todd 'asked' for an explanation souey gave him the silent treatment! an argument then insued.
he's been great for us in recent seasons (since his return from 'rovers finishing school') and was great at 'big club last' wk (you must have seen that? you had a better view than me!).
when he was nearly out the door @ rovers (and i was moving house) he offered me his furniture! i'm not letting that cloud my judgement though.

just watched 'big sam' prostitute himself on sky. at first it made me laugh, but on reflection he could do the job.
in international football you dont need to be great at coaching- just good tactically and at 'motivating big time charlies.'
england wouldnt play 'the bolton way', he'd gain the respect of the players and 'sort out'any1 not pulling their weight.
he wont get it for many reasons - but any1 is better than 'phil neale II' and without him bolton would slide out of sight.
steve mcc 'shagging about'! i'm not the only 1 that uses money to intice women into bed!
