  1. Or maybe he is jelous because he didnt get the job.
  2. BBC Link
  3. Five Live have just reported that a decision will be met by 15:30 today, whether to allow Mark Hughes to talk to Rovers or not.
  4. Some advice regarding eating and drinking and toilet facilites. As for food and drink, i would take your own food and drink with you as at half time it is very hard to get served as all there is, is a small window selling a small collections of Beer and pies and if your standing in that que the likely hood is you will miss about 5 minutes of the second half as the service is very slow. Also try not to get into the situation where your dying for the toliet as at busy periods you could be waiting about 5 minutes in the que for the bog. In regards to the train station, if you have a tight connection in London to get home i would leave the ground a couple of minutes early as the police only let a handful of people onto the station at once, leading to quite a conjestion to catch your train, expect to be waiting about 20 minutes. Final thing does anyone have any idea about car parking, is there much near the ground?
  5. Do you honestly believe he would top the pole? John Williams is a pole dancer?!?! Blimey, uncle Warburton gets around a bit! Does his missus know he frequents clubs with greying men cavorting round a pole? Now we know that Rovers are in dire straits financially when the chief exec has to supplement his income with dancing dollars! Could the routine be incorporated into the half time break? What and scare everyone out of the ground by Williams prancing around the centre circle. We could unleash him in the oppositions goal to start dancing up and down the posts, now that would put even the worlds top keeper off his game.
  6. It should be a poll, so make it a poll mods! Who Do You Want As Our New Manager? I. Dowie M. Hughes G. Strachan D. Advocaat C. Levein M. Newell P. Sturrock P. Reid G. Hoddle G. Houllier you forgot L. Grooby We know people from newspapers and others read forum's like this from time to time, so if we had a poll, we would be showing the world who we want as our new manager.. It may have an effect on who eventually gets the prestigious job, or am I talking utter rubbish again? Go on Mods give us a Poll, just put the current top ten favorites from Betfair in the Poll.
  7. Did you also tell him that he looks likes one of those tw@ts from Busted. I think Bjarte was just scrubbing for free tickets
  8. Who would you class as deadwood? The team we have at the moment, i would class as one of the best we have had in a long time (1995+). I also think that the side we currently have is as good as the other 14 teams in the premiership. The side is finally showing some stability and hopefully players will be playing in their right positions. To be honest i dont think we need to bring many fresh faces in, in January, but just wait for Rovers to prove me wrong yet again.

  10. Jesus christ no! The link below Click here Who is Bar at 33/1
  11. Bryan or Bobby?
  12. Im very suprised this hasnt turned into a Poll?
  13. Also nice to see the Rovers fans got a mention in the Sun today, quoting 3 of our songs. -Stand up if you've won the league -Sit down if you've won f**k all -Thats the squad whihc Souness signed. Also said we were taunting the Newcastle fans the whole game
  14. The way i se it is (sorry if already mentioned) that the players are coming out and saying how much they would like Mark Hughes like wise Parkes has said the same. I really dont think they would be saying that if anyone else would be coming in. Think those comments from the players give it away abit. Unless Souness was giving them lessons in lying to the media rather than concentrating on playing Football.
  15. Are you talking about the lad that was arrested after the match? Why was it all kicking off outside the Ewood Blues coach?
  16. Of the names that have been bandied around, sadly not many (which is why they are available of course). Dowie has done well but over a statistically insignificant time-frame. Moyes has stuggled at Everton. Discounting the perennial under-achievers (Strachan, Hoddle, Houllier etc) leaves people like George Graham (who does at least have a record of success but who has clearly been out of the game too long) Does make you wonder who were the realistic contenders among the 30-odd applications doesn't it? Levein? Newell? On balance I'd probably go for Dowie but more in hope than anticipation. We need a Sam Allardyce type of manager who can work his magic in the transfer market. What have Dowies transfers been like? What about Megson? He has managed to sign the likes of Kanu and Earnshaw, when to be honest you would of thought they would of gone to bigger clubs. I would rather get a manager in that would keep the squad of players we have, and doing the job with them, instead of diving into the transfer market and signing all the bargains possible. With the right man in charge i think the current crop of players are as good as any outside the top five clubs. The manager isnt coming to a club which needs alot of work we need a manager that can make our current squad perform to their best standards and give 100% each game.
  17. Thats a big fat 0 points next week.
  18. Current odds with SKY BET M Hughes 6/4 D Advocaat 7/2 Moyes 7/2 Strachan 8/1 Ian Dowie 14/1 Newell 14/1 Hoddle 16/1 Houllier 16/1 Reid 16/1 Curbishley 20/1 Jewell 20/1 Royle 20/1 Allardyce 25/1 Graham 33/1 Gregory 33/1 McLeish 33/1 O'Leary 33/1 Parkes 33/1 Venables 33/1 Bobby Robson 50/1 Bruce 50/1 Keegan 50/1 Megson 50/1 Shearer 50/1 T Francis 50/1 Bryan Robson 66/1 G Francis 66/1 Taylor P 66/1
  19. WHAT??????
  20. Diouf ripped us to shreads in both games he played at Ewood last season especially in the Carling Cup.
  21. Ahmen Nice to see some people are on the same wave-length as me. Thats the most sense anyone has actually made on this thread. The only thing if he is appointed is that i hope he doesn't bring that big nosed tw@t Thompson with him. But whoever is brought in you cannot please evryone. The board must bring in who they think right for Blackburn Rovers at this time. Even if someone who i wouldn't like is appointed (Hoddle), he should still get a chance to turn this season round and given the confidence to take Blackburn Rovers back to the top and winning Silverware.
  22. And how many out of those four, is a proven premiership manager? Dowie, Worthington and Wigley are very unprovenen premiership mangers and i think the risk would be too great to take one of them on as Rovers' manager.
  23. Had a search on google and couldnt find anything, did find a quote from Jim on there though.
  24. Has John Williams ever had the task of selecting a new manager, surely when Souey came in it would have being Jack who selected him rather than JW aswell as Hodgeson, Harford,Kidd et al.
