  1. Anyone know if the ticket office will be open later than usual on Saturday ( ticket transfer day)?
  2. Living in Colne, I have first hand experience of how the dingles are pushing season ticket sales. (And boy do they need them!). : Door to door leaflets, as someone already suggested we should do, radio adverts, sacking of manager, ( Didn't think much of that one.), getting Tony Livsomething, on Radio Lancs to "Promote Burnley interests" (Interesting one that. Livsey and stan, have an erm, good friendship going.) My point is, this side of East Lancs, the dingles are doing all the pushing. Rovers fans, and there are many here, are sat in the dark, unless someone tells them of this famous blue/white site. Time Rovers did a bit more pushing this side of Burnley.
  3. Two things. 1st. Some clubs, Bolton & Rangers to name two, issue fans from their database, with swipe cards. The card system I believe is expensive to set up, but ultimately saves money and hassle by reducing the number of forgeries and incidents like those that occurred on thursday night. 2nd. Moving away slightly, but on the same subject, it appears the dingles are about to cock up in a similar way to us. The officials at bfc have stated that anyone buying a ticket for their forthcoming Norwich game, can also pick up a ticket for the dingles v manure worthy game. Guess what? loads of people in scum shirts, queuing up, with some very frustrated dingles, grabbing handfuls of tickets. the local dingles are really pi44ed off.
  4. According to John Williams, on radio Lancs tonight, they are expecting a sell-out.
  5. Good job he didn't have a headache
  6. Quote, "The atmosphere that night was actually electric, obviously we only raise ourselves for the really big sides (only kidding), and Valencia actually filed a preliminary complaint to Uefa that the noise we made was unsportsmanlike, and blamed their on-the-night defeat on not being able to hear what each other was saying." That's funny, they have the same problem down at the turf.
