I'd like to see Buckley alongside A. Wharton as the starting pair in CM next season.

He left us with no strikers. He also had nothing to do with the development of Carter, Joe Rankin-Costello and Adam Wharton who have all come to the fore this season and been key contributors. I have nothing but disdain for the man.

I think Broughton tried to do business in the January transfer window, he was just hamstrung by inept Senior Management (the Club Secretary or the CEO, take your pick) and his own naivety. Hopefully he learns from it as he's very inexperienced at the new role.

I actually think Brereton-Diaz unbalances the side. With a good summer of recruiting (without spending much money on transfers) we won't miss him in the slightest - I just don't know if we're going to have that summer. There are much better players out there on frees and loans. We need 3 of them upfront to go alongside Szmodics.

He's asked for caution and patience all season - partly to avoid the situation he finds himself in now with fans blaming him for failing to get into the Playoffs with a squad that isn't up to it. I'm very excited about next season if he stays and is backed - sadly it's Venky's Rovers so neither of those things will happen.

He's never referred to us as 'little Rovers' - he's always been very forthright about the quality of the squad at his disposal. If anything he's talked us up as a great club with a fantastic history.
