Someone has taken note of how the youngsters performed particularly in the league cup against lower league opposition and think mistakenly they can produce those results on a weekly basis.

It's not that complicated - the owners have simply turned off the taps.

They did it to Lambert, they did it to Mowbray at the end of his tenure and they've done it to JDT.

The squad cost two buttons and a piece of string to put together and it's showing.

I hope Broughton is making a list of head coaches capable of dragging us back at the first attempt and making maybe his one and only worthwhile contribution since turning up here the over rated lickspittle.

Because no way is this fella doing it not a chance there is very little comparison to be had with Mowbrays attempts to stay up, yes he was too conservative himself but there were enough green shoots to offer some hope.

If we do drop though he really should be 3rd out of the door behind Waggot and Eustace.

I actually think Eustace has been fine - he's also showing what a fantastic job JDT was doing with this group of players.

You simply cannot game plan for players throwing the ball into their own net twice (Pears against Sheffield Wednesday, Hyam against Bristol City).

A friend of mine who is a big Newport County fan and very knowledgeable, sent me a text when we had signed O’Riordan saying he was a very good player. Obviously, we have barely seen him in a Blue and white shirt yet but he has certainly picked him as one for the future.

He looked big and athletic the one time we did see him - like Carter.

Obviously he can't get in ahead of Carter, Hyam and S. Wharton, but you'd at least think he'd be getting games for the U21s. Strange one.

People are quite rightly annoyed, as he was certainly involved in one error, arguably two that proved critical on the day and could prove even more critical come the end of the season.

Personal insults obviously cross a line, but Jesus, he knows observations on his performance come with the territory.

It's not even arguable - he cost us two goals on Sunday.

Well said. I've been going on for 49 years, the only time I gave it a swerve was for 3 seasons or so after these clowns took over and potted Big Sam.

I'm so fed up with BRFC and football in general; the season can't end soon enough so I can spend my Saturdays fishing instead. If my daughter wouldn't  threaten me with ostracism, I'd be seriously considering to ditch the ST again next season.

I genuinely only go to Ewood these days to spend time with my parents. It has been a miserable season and we all nearly packed it in when they fucked us over in the January transfer window and treated us like idiots AGAIN.

Pears is dreadful and has made the worst GK error in the entire league yesterday BUT he's undroppable. The alternative is Leo who is not even conference level. At least Pears does have the odd good game like he did against Leeds.

Both are the worst GKs we've ever had though. Telalovic is the worst striker we've ever had and this is probably the worst bunch of loan players we've ever had. Not a huge surprise we are where we are when you factor in all those things.

    Undroppable:

And that's not even all of his errors - it doesn't include the first goal on Sunday either, for example.

I agree regarding spirit but - 1st one shinned in a la Jason Roberts, 2nd a massive deflection. 3rd a pretty kind pen.

We could have done with just one of those today.

ten Hag has spent a fortune and can't get a consistent tune out of these players. He'll rightly be sacked shortly.

Even taking the mistakes out, they worked far harder than us and had more of a gameplan.  We just piss about with it in the hope Sammy makes a good run and we can release him. That’s it. That’s our plan.

It's not a bad plan when the other options are Dolan, Gallagher, Telalovic and Markanday. We have nothing upfront.

    Outthought and outfought.

Most of them are spineless, but special mentions to Brittain, Hyam and Gallagher.

As I say every week, I wish we had a left footed Brittain to play at LB. He's a fantastic player at this level. Pickering stopped every one of our attacks he was involved with. It must be a dream to line up across from him, he runs like he's got a piano on his back.

Today far outweighs the Leeds win.

No effort, nobody willing to take responsibility.
    And then Pears...

Eustace clearly isn't up to the job and needs to go - now - whilst we still have a chance to stay up.

If he tries to spin this positively in the post-match, he is beyond deluded.

I don't think he did much wrong today - he set us up well (3 CBs to deal with their physicality) and we nullified them. You can't really account for your GK gifting them 2 goals.
