There’s a rumour going round apparently that we spelt his name wrong on the paperwork. Maybe check Waggotts desk for tippex.

Ewood and #venkysout all over social media for starters.
It’s turning, not turned, still plenty out there that just don’t/won’t get it - but you can tell by the sudden unmooring of the ostrich brigade that the fanbase isn’t in the place it was re these owners just a few months ago.
Plenty of happy clappers still though. Wonder what that muppet California Rover’s views are.

Also I can't see Ennis doing a mute on celebration after he does score. It may just be epic.

I could see Ennis scoring (because that's just our luck) but I doubt he'd do anything daft.
Someone get him a Venky’s Out t-shirt for under his jersey 😂 He’d go down as a legend.

What the fuck is Burnley Bob Coar doing these days?

Wasn’t there someone called Parkroad or something that claimed he worked for them?

I usually avoid social media(with the exception of a few forums, this one included), but recently I’ve found myself on Twitter, Facebook and the LET website. In the last few days I’ve seen some absolutely baffling views expressed by some of our supporters/fans. I’ve started screenshotting some of them, so I thought I’d create a topic where we can document and marvel at the stupidity, naivety and Ignorance.
Maybe this can be used constructively to educate and guide them?
I’ll start with this I found on Twitter today.
Also some I found at the weekend on the LET, wow the comments section on there is truly something!

BRENT OR WAGGOTT. Are these quotes from David Brent or under-fire Rovers CEO Steve Waggott?
One from the archive... https://brfcs.com/magazine/articles/brent-or-waggott/492
This is brilliant. What an absolute cockwomble Waggot is.

I think JDT had every right to leave the club last summer - without financial penalty - if the job he'd signed up for had been drastically changed, which I think it had.
Sounds very similar to why Lambert walked out? Except he had the hindsight to have a clause in his contract that allowed this and JDT hasn’t.

QPR’s first win at Ewood Park in 25 years.
Yet another record gone due to Venky’s.

An abysmal spelling of yesterday.
In a modern age where technology literally does it for you.
What’s an alot?
The yesterday spelling reminds of a dingle I used to chat to on a Yahoo! Clubs championship club back in 2001. He used to call me a “Basturd”. (Or maybe it was Basterd)😂 Never heard from after the 5-0 Mini’s v Ferrari’s match 🤔

I don’t know which one was worse Peacock or Dailly.
When we had money, we didn’t half waste it at times.
Peacock was worse, at least Dailly was considered a prospect, Peacock was in a Newcastle team that usually had to score 4 to win?

I hope he doesn’t mind me mentioning it, but I think Glen was once offered money to back off and stay silent.
Assuming that would not have been recorded through the Rovers bank account or business accounts as hush money, I wonder where that would have come from?
If that’s one we know about, how many do we not?
Either Kean or Anderson’s back pocket I imagine. They were both well rewarded for their ‘work’.
There’s a lot of things that point to sinister going’s on. If everything was legit, then these things wouldn’t have happened.
One day we may get the truth.

When you are loaning out popular senior players who have been with the club since they were kids so you can save on the weekly wage bill and replacing them with random kids on loan on a fraction of the cost you know you have serious problems, and it is inevitable that these sort of decisions are going to have repercussions behind the scenes and around the dressing room. I daresay that this is already happening and is a factor in our nosedive.
The perils of making your recruitment decisions solely on the basis of cost and convenience rather than considering wider ramifications. Save a few quid a week, pats on the back at Venky HQ yet destroy team spirit and annoy the rest of the squad causing further issues.
That's before you get on to the complete and total lack of ambition and professionalism to be found anywhere other than in the head coach's office. Owners a disgrace, CEO not fit for purpose and a Director of Football who, if I'm being kind hasn't been given any real opportunity to prove his worth.
Of course Gallagher will be looking elsewhere. It is abundantly clear that he will be earmarked for release / sale to get his substantial wages off the books as we have with every decent earner for the last 4 years. They lied to us and claimed they tried to keep some of them and made them good improved offers, but I think as time goes by it becomes more and more clear that this was little more than a ruse to keep the fans on side and try to shift blame to the player(s) and not the owners.
Gallagher won't have had much of an indication on his future because we don't even know if we can pay the wages from one month to the next (cheers Venkys), so we are hardly going to be in a position to negotiate terms with a top earner. We are the club that sat back and allowed Mowbray's deal to expire with no communication until weeks after the season ended, that did nothing to keep the likes of Rothwell and Diaz, totally unprofessional, where the manager has no idea what, if any, money he is going to be permitted to spend and so is it any surprise at all that Gallagher is getting fed up being treated like a mug?
If I were a players agent, I’d be telling them to leave this circus as soon as possible. The club is a complete joke now thanks to Venky’s.

The Wrexham director Shaun Harvey comes across as very dislikable. I bet him and Swaggott would get on well.
By the way, you all should watch ‘It’s always sunny in Philadelphia’. If you’re into that kind of humour you’ll find it very funny. They’re all such a complete bunch of horrible bastards 😂.

Seem to remember wording that the funds had to be sent in line with “contractual obligations” meaning parent company to BRFC & Athletic as an entity. So the court delay puts them in breach, I understand, although would stand to be corrected entirely.
Like to think I have a good nose for when I’m about to get fucked and believe me, my nose is twitching.
Only thing that springs to mind is an extremely factual, full-page ad in the most-read newspaper(s) in India, in English and regional dialects, outlining the situation, signed on behalf of concerned fans. That paid media coverage should lead to a lot of earned media coverage and - so long as it remains factual - avoid whatever the libel laws are over there.
There are enough of us here to work towards crowdfunding it and to put together the message itself.
Protests don’t echo in India. We need to fight this on their own patch.
There must be some Indian journalists that have a chip on their shoulders regarding Venky’s. Those horrible cunts must have pissed plenty of people off down the years.
