I bet he was promised other/better players than what came in the doors yesterday. Clearly not happy.

I thought that Viking and Orlando City had agreed a fee around 32,5 mill NOK for him already.

Someone mentioned Kenneth Zohore earlier, looks like he is heading home to Denmark.

Dembele on his way to Auxerre.

Probably a Broughton "candidate" this Ibrahima Konate, used to play in Norway before joining Lorient.

Not comparing the players, but Rudy Gestede didn't have the best goalscoring record either before he joined us.

Nikita Haikin will be off to Bristol City it seems.

Iam still pretty sure Jo Inge Berget is signing on a free transfer.
It was said this morning that he will probably sign for norwegian club Molde, but nothing decided yet. It was also said that he has offers from clubs in the Championship, including Rovers.

Here is a quick google translate from Nettavisen:
Nikita Haikin guarded the Glimt cage for several successful seasons at Aspmyra. After the 2022 season, the goalkeeper's contract expired and he has since been looking for a new club. For now, he has not signed, but now a decision on his future may be approaching. Nettavisen is aware that Haikin has several offers that he is now considering. Among other things from the MLS club Vancouver Whitecaps.
Haikin is said to have recently visited the club in Marbella in Spain where Vancouver is said to have stayed at a training camp. In recent days, Nettavisen has been sent photos of the 27-year-old in place on the Spanish sunny coast in meetings with the Canadian club, together with the Swedish agent Blash Hosseini. He also represents several Norwegian players and players who play daily in the Eliteserien.
Haikin is said to have recently also received a concrete offer from Blackburn, where Danish Jon Dahl Tomasson sits in the manager's chair and former development manager in Bodø/Glimt Gregg Broughton has the position of football director.

Keep em coming Mr Swanson! We need all the eyes we can get on what might be possible 🙂
Hehe😄 I saw some of my fellow norwegians mentioned Jens Petter Hauge as a possible target. His loan from Frankfurt to Gent is set to be terminated. Would be a great addition here. But I see today that he is linked to Schalke 04.
This suggestion is mainly based on the Broughton connection to Bodø/Glimt and nothing else.
But he seems to be off to Groningen now...

I mentioned Håkon Evjen as a possible target earlier in the window, he has today joined danish side Brøndby.

Iv noticed O'Rourke is not as reliable as he was in the past.
He had Mike Ashley deal done to buy Birmingham city in the summer and a lot of his transfer links come to nothing.
In the past most of his rovers bits had legs.
Didn't he also say that Joe Rothwell to Bournemouth for 3 mill was a done deal last january?

Anybody know anything about Hugo Vetlesen? A Norwegian central midfielder that plays for Bodo Glimt.
He is supposedly one of the players that GB spoke with last week, according to the same couple of people who claimed we had interviewed three potential signings.
I don't know how good he is or how realistic the move is, but the Bodo link makes it sound like a plausible rumour.
Yes what @briansolsaid.
One the best players in the league last season and I think he got his debut on the national team as well.
I felt that he stagnated at his former club, but has really blossomed at Bodø/Glimt. Scoring a lot of goals from his midfield position. I would be very surprised if he ends up here.

I still think selling him would have a negative impact on the club chances of getting a top 6 place and playoff place. If you are going to sell him then you need replace him with left side attacking player and striker aswell
What type of player is Hakon Evjen?
Evjen is a attacking midfielder / right winger, good left foot and only 22 years. I don't know if there is interest still, but I do remember his name being mentioned during the summer. It might be because of the Gregg Broughton / Glimt connection, as Evjen is a former Bodø/Glimt player.

Could Håkon Evjen be the midfielder that was being looked at today? He was a player of interest during the summer if I remember correctly. He came on as a sub today in the game between AZ and Vitesse.

Is he good enough regardless of age ?
Don't know to be honest. Maybe some Swedish fans can enlight us? I only remember him from the international games, but his last one was in 2017...
Maybe ho could do a job on a 6 month contract, he can play in different positions.

Jo Inge Berget has left Malmø now, free agent. Not wanted there anymore according to himself on Instagram. Wonder if JDT will pick up the phone...
Not a fan of Berget joining Rovers personally, mostly because of his age.

Send Hirst back and bring in this guy! Only 22 years old, and danish 👀
12 games, 13 goals and 8 assists.
But will probably struggle getting a work permit...
-
Quick feet from Hirst.

I know that Lode is not happening now, but this article says that if he had been in one matchday squad for Schalke, Rovers could have applied for a dispensation for Lode's work permit.
Just tought it was worth mentioning.

Jon Dahl Tomasson - Officially No Longer Our Head Coach

Well I never thought it would come to this, but as long as Venky's are the owners I am done with Rovers. I have been a fan since 93, but now sadly it stops. These owners are slowly killing my interest for the club. There have been so many many incidents since they took over, but these latest things...
I have had enough of these uprofessional owners! They show time and time again that they will never learn, and
nothing will ever change as long as they are still around.
I hope to "see" you guys sometime in the future! Take care!
