I agree with your first point that we should sell him given he wants out from media reports and We could use that fee to fund a couple of replacements like Veljko Birmancevic(suggested cos JDT knows him) and Georgios Giakoumakis(being linked with a move to championship according a poster who posted that link) for example of what we could do and who we could sign. 

You mention Tyrese Campbell as replacement for BBD and he would be very good signing I just don't see him coming here. JDT will know Riis so maybe he is realistic option but I wouldn't pay more than 4 or 5 million for him. 

100% we need to have the money and not get drawn into loan deals bringing the fee down. It needs to become a bidding war but the worry is that there just hasn’t been the concrete interest to date. 
 

Really need two or three teams at a minimum pushing for him.

Everyone apart from Chaddy was fully aware that we needed to strengthen the squad based on the players we lost. Also needed to do it by the start of the season and not by the end of the window.

Ending the game with 3 of our back line all being played there out of position is a worry. It shows the fragility of the squad at the moment. We need some quality additions. The good news is that we will be an attractive option. You’d argue that we’ve had a hard start but we’re Flying.

West Brom looked very good tonight. Bit surprised that we are the only team to have not dropped any points after 2 games. 

I’ll be home for that one. I was hoping the West Brom game would be on telly as it’s a Sunday game but looking doubtful. 

How many tickets did we have available? I know I left it late but I had a look on Friday on the ticket pages of the website and there was no mention of Swansea tickets. Assumed we’d sold our allocation. I know sometimes the club have to pay for the tickets up front so wondered if we’d only gone for 500 and they’d all sold.

Think J*B needs to stop digging that hole now 😄

I’m probably going to find somewhere to watch the Sunday Prem games next weekend. Any suggestions of bars? My hotel is pretty close to the Whitehouse so that’s the area I’ll probably be wandering around 🙂

I thought he had a quiet debut but to be fair he’s not had a lot of time to train with his new team. Took the goal well but didn’t do a lot else. He’ll improve I’m pretty sure of that.

First time in DC. I land Saturday so I’ll probably head out for the Sunday games after doing a morning of sight seeing. Week of work and then fly home the following Saturday.

Do you guys get to see any Rovers games on TV or is it just Rovers player (or whatever it’s called now). I’m in Washington DC for a week and Rovers are playing at Reading midweek when I’m there. Wondering what the chances of watching it in a pub over there are? I’m guessing slim to f all!
