When Sheffield United were 2-0 down, Burnley were 2-0 down and QPR were 1-1 I was thinking it was going to be a great day for us. We just need to keep winning our games and see where it takes us.

Would this be one of the first times that the team at the top of the league has lost more games than the team at the bottom of the league. Can’t have happened too often surely?

We’ll be punished for the missed chances and the lapse of concentration. Should have been out of sight but some great saves from their keeper. 

If he hadn’t left when he did he would have probably been sacked fairly soon after as it had all turned a bit sour if I recall. Pretty sure there were quite a few calling for his head.

It’s mental that we’ve seen some actually awful football so far this season (and some top quality games too) yet we find ourselves just 3 points from the top of the table. I think we would have all taken that at the start of the season.

Just shows what a competitive league we are in. Just need to break the WLW sequence with a few more wins and we’ll be right in the mix.

So you’re moaning that they haven’t got fees for players and then moaning that they did get a few for a player (Arma) in the same sentence… and those prices are questionable at best! We ain’t selling Nyambe for 2.5m when he only managed to get a 1 year deal at Wigan when he was free!!!

A new 5 year contract. Good news after the recent contract issues we’ve had.

Wonder if we would look at any free left backs. There may be out of contract players who we could still pick up outside the window. Jetro Willems is an interesting one. Not a bad age and has a bit of Prem experience.

Atmosphere wise it’s the BB end. Best view of the game would be half way on the Jack Walker stand.

Was Glen being strung along a bit with the Styles stuff? We clearly didn’t want him as he ended up on loan at Millwall. If we had a genuine interest then I’m sure we would have been a better option.

My only concern is his commitment towards the end of the season. Will it be in the back of his mind that a bad injury could result in him basically being unemployed. Will we even keep him past January or will we take a token offer. If we get promoted will he sign a new contract. Lots of questions.

It’s an ok from me as well. At one point in the second half he panicked and literally hoofed the ball sideways to a Blackpool player who was on the edge of our box.

I’m struggling with the Jordan Rhodes hadn’t proved himself either. He’d been scoring for fun for a couple of seasons before we signed him.

unfortunately it makes zero difference what they are worth. The issue is our low gates and income which is what our wage bill needs to be based on.
