That would have been good but unfortunately I don't get there until 9.00 am on Saturday. From what I've heard about the Irish Rovers they'll probably still be drinking then!!

Looking forward to it now, The missus still thinks we are going sightseeing all day on Saturday. Not sure wether to break the news to her before we get there or just 'coincidently' pop into the same pub as all of you guys, at exactly the same time.

Thats what we have been moaning about ever since ITV took over the Premiership highlights. I also like the fact that the 90 minutes they choose to show will be decided after all of the games have finished on a Saturday. Gone are the days of ITV choosing to show a 0-0 draw between the 'bigger' teams instead of a 4-3 between two of the smaller ones. It all sounds pretty good to me.

I saw the first advert for it today Eddie. It says something along the lines of "Watch every one of your teams games live, or nearly live"

his figures at Leeds were excellent, over 1 goal every 2 games. not too bad at all. He's not had the best of times at Citeh but he is playing with one of the greediest strikers in the league.

Looks like it was a pretty strong team that played against Bury last night. Another goal from Gallagher to add to his 3 in Germany. Maybe the Gally and Steadinho strike force might be good enough next season. Nice to see Matty getting another goal.

So people complained when we signed Dickov as he's too old and doesn't score enough goals, now you want Djorkaeff who is older and scores even fewer goals. He scored 9 league goals last season and 7 the season before. Its hardly setting the world alight is it!!! Fowler for me please

So Matt Darbyshire outscored Yorke by 2 goals. was anyone there to give us a match report. Surely we have to see some of the young lads make the step up this season. It would be nice to see Donelly, Jemel Johnson, Darbyshire (maybe a bit soon for him), and a few more of the young lads given a chance in the team.

Cole has been interviewed by SSN today. Thanked the fans for being brilliant, and getting behind him through thick and thin. Thanked the board for supporting him, and thanked his team mates who he described as a fantastic bunch of lads. Also he refused to get into a slanging match with Souness. He said Souness is entitled to his opinion but he would be keeping his feelings out of the press.
