Tashor, spot on. We need to play 2 up front and we need to hae Djotkaeff to unlock defences. The only way we can do it is to play him out wide on the left. Playing one up front just doesn't work for us.

The Pro MGP posse (ie every Norwegian who visits the site) are starting to do my head in now. Mark Hughes is spending 5-6 days a week with the lad, if he doesn't think he's ready I'll take his wod for it rather than a few biased fans who watch him on the TV. Yes he's Norwegian, and I understand your loyalty but don't slate Hughes, he looked completely out of his depth when he did play.

Need to start playing a 'solid' 4-4-2. Dickov up front by himself just doesn't work. I know he's short of confidence but we need to play Stead and Dickov. We need to bring Todd back in at the back and tighten things up. I know it sounds easy, but lets be fair it should be, football isn't a dificult game but we are managing to defend like schoolboys.

Not sure if John Williams is to blame for the mess we are in at the moment Mrs Jansen. I've always felt he is an excellent Chief Exec.

Isn't Lloyds bar actually inside Fulham Broadway tube station. If you see 2 little foreign looking lads around there give them a clip round the ear and tell them I want my bloody phone back.

Just hoping Kezman and Gudjonssen get crocked during the champions league game. For a club like Chelsea they are a bit light for Strikers at the moment. Can't see us getting a lot from this one to be honest, 1-0 Chelsea.

looks like Souey and Savage had words after the game when Savage tounted Souey about only being 5th choice for the Newcastle job. Looks like Souey had a good come back for him though 1st round to Souey -
Agreed Jim, I think he will do well for us. We need a little bit more creativity and hopefully he will give us this

So who crossed the ball for Flitcroft to hit the post????? Krislu, I know you guys are probably a bit miffed that Pederson has been ousted by Jansen but he actually did ok last night.
-
Did he win the world cup or was he in the team that went out when the other Baggio missed the pen. The only other one I can think of could be Ossie Ardiles
-
Just out of interest, is this the first time we have had a world cup winner playing for us?

I think the key thing about last night is that we played pretty well. We had 8 shots on target to their 2. The one thing I did notice is Stead is really low in confidence, he seems to be shying away from the ball. Emerton is one of the most frustrating players i've ever seen, he has verything in his locker but just can't seem to put it all together. There was a golden opportunity last night to run down the wing and get a ball in the box but yet again he cut inside and the move broke down. I'm sure things will click soon and we'll be fine, just need one to go in off Steads arse or something. -

Abbey, I have watched their pen shout a few times now and it is very very similar to ours. -

All the people complaining about the handball, it was hit straight at the guy. There was a very similar incident in the first half that wasn't given against Matteo. -

Thought i would put this in here as I can't see it anywhere else. i was reading Ken Bates' column in the Sun today. He comes out with a fairly interesting revelation, he had reached an agreement with Hughes to be the next Sheffield Wednesday manager if he took over. he claims that he struck a deal in March with hughes and his Agent, Dennis Roach. He says it is a tribute to Mark Hughes that the press never found out and that Mark was good to his word for six months. Interesting to say the least -

[Archived] Rovers For Sale?

It wouldn't surprise me if their was some truth in the story. I guess Rovers aren't making much money for them these days. Still think Jack would never have let it happen, if only the great man was still with us. -
It's about 2 miles from the City centre. I might make the trek down to Norwich from Hereford, might have to leave the Mrs at home this time. She quite enjoyed Dublin but meeting Jordan, Scotty and Manchester Blue in one day is enough for anyone to take.

Best thing is that we have a price agreed ALREADY, always the best option when taking a player on loan otherwise they come in, do well and then the selling club puts the price up.
