  1. I think it's quite clear Waggy. We would need to sell 20,000 tickets before we can start selling the other stand... we aren't going to sell 20,000 so therefore there will be no more cheap seats.
  2. sorry Stu, they offered me £45 or £55.... I went for the cheaper option
  3. Just tried that Waggy, I just had a call from the ticket office and was told that the only tickets they have left are the £45 ones. Just bought 5 of them.
  4. I got 6-1 on Betfair for the draw, pretty happy with that so I chucked a few quid on it. In hindsight I should have gone for a 0-0 as the odds would have been pretty impressive. Just need Everton to win now to make it a good weekend all round.
  5. Looks like the BBC know more than us, they quote that Arsenal V Rovers tickets are like 'Golddust'....... Ha Ha Ha
  6. Phil, I think the PDF below quite clearly shows how few cheap tickets are available. Don't think the club can be accused of hiding the facts when they have produced a leaflet showing how the tickets are divided. Ticket Leaflet
  7. It's not always one of the friendliest places Glenn. If there is going to be trouble in Cardiff it's usually at the Prince of Wales
  8. not if we get to the final it's not Hughesy
  9. So as the problems are between bristol and cardiff you could stay in a few places. Newport is obviously one option, Cymbran, Pontypool, Abergavenny and Hereford are all on the same line so wouldnt have to go through Bristol.
  10. 1 hour from Cardiff, on the train route and not via Bristol so I think the trains are ok. Group discount on the train means that it is only about £7 return from here if there are 4 or more of you. Here
  11. Lets hope WBA go down and then put in a cheeky bid for Earnshaw and Koumas. I think Earnshaw would be a good player to play alongside Stead, far better option than Bellamy.
  12. I'm sure there are flights from Blackpool and Manchester. Not sure if they are with ryanair or bmibaby. I'm sure people on here have flown before.
  13. We have been allocated just over 30,000 tickets for the semi, not quite sure how they expect to get 30,000 people actually to Cardiff by that time. Nice and easy for me.......... which is nice!!
  14. Beacuse other league games will be going on at the same time. They are not allowed to show a live saturday game that will interfere with the 3pm saturday kick offs.
  15. I keep singing the praises of Hereford. Its on the train route down, would be nice to see the city (yes it is a city!!) full of blue and white.
  16. I'm going to head straight out of Cardiff as soon as the game finishes, it will be an absolute nightmare there. I know when we played there in 2001 a lot of people stayed in Bristol, Newport, Abergavenny and places like that. Hereford is only 1 hour away and is on the Manchester line so might be an option for some people. (I can always put people up in Hereford )
  17. woohoo, only 60 mins on the train for me. I won't need a hotel as I should be able to catch the last train back to Hereford after the game.
  18. Stead on the bench, thought we might have gone with 2 up front for this one
  19. In the first half stead was in a similar position to the one he took up for the goal, he was pointing and shouting where he wanted the ball but MGP ran with it. I think Thommo summed it up in the post match interview when he said that Stead hadn't had great support from the midfield this season. Hopefully we can get stead back on form starting with leicester next week
  20. Don't want to accuse you of talking crap but, you're talking crap. form tables are calculated on the last 6 games. We are actually 5th on the form table..... yes thats 5th from the top not 3rd from the bottom. Feel free to take a look at the figures here
  21. Any UK based rovers fans who can't be there can listen at Radio 5
  22. I think we have had a few third shirts over the years, can you describe it?
  23. I'd be happy with Leicester or Southampton/Brentford at Ewood.
  24. I'd be over the moon if I hear "Burnley fans eat bananas with their feet" whilst watching it on the box
  25. I have been awake since 6.30 and I'm only watchin it on the box. just decorating the living room with all things rovers. Wiring up the surround speakers to add a little something to the atmosphere. Hope all Rovers fans going have a safe and succesful day.
