Emerton hasn't got any pace!!!!

Anyone know of a decent pub to visit before the game. I will be in London all day on Wednesday probably head up to the Highbury area at about 6.00-6.30. It would be good to catch up with any MB members.

Trooper, In your opinion then Ormorod and Dunn shouldn't even play against us in the future out of " a lack of respect for their hometown club". God forbid Dunny should ever score a goal past us.... I think you're well over the top with your criticism of Beattie. He is paid to do a job, he didn't appeal for the pen he just got up and took it. -
Heart says a 1-1 draw, head says 4-0 to Arsenal.

Krislu's exclusive seems to be well and truly up the spout!!! Looks like you've been using 1864's contacts again

reasons to be cheerful 1. Souness played in the Liverpool team that stoped Forests 42 game run in game 43 2. Blackburn stopped Forest's Premiership record run of games without defeat, winning 7-1 3. Blackburn have won at Highbury!!!

I have never been one of the "Souness out brigade" but this morning I find myself edging ever closer to them. No one can doubt what he has done for our club, two (short) European Campaigns, promotion, and a fantastic day out in Cardiff. He has had great success with Rovers but I really think he is starting to lose the plot. The team sheets look like a bag of pick n' mix, stick a load of players in a bag, shake em' up and play them in the position they land. How else can you explain Matteo on the left wing. Souness needs to stand up and be counted, he can't keep blaming everyone else for the teams failures. Its a time to play players in their natural position and fight for the points. We need to get something out of our next 3 games otherwise I can see him teetering on the brink, I'm sure JW won't be scared to sack him if he feels it necessary. If Souness can't turn it around we need to turn to an experienced Premiership manager to work with the squad of players we have (transfer window will be closed so no new players can come in), the ideal replacement would be Strachan although George Graham might be able to steady the ship.

well last season we took 6 points from our next 3 fixtures, so lets hope we can do something similar this time around. -

Sorry greg but that was one of the most pathetically immature comments ive ever read. maybe so and I apologies as I was, and still am very angry. But I do not like it when people who only see rovers play once a season slagg the team off when they have not seen the match and go on people opinions and not their own. so i apologies for that statement and to the ppl it offended. From the time you posted I guess you weren't at the game either so I guess we can't take your views seriously either. -

No room for Matty in the squad. Is he injured or just so far down the pecking ordaer that he doesn't get a look in anymore. -
Souness is spot on to say that the target is survival. Steve Bruce and Kevin Keegan have both come out and said the same thing this season.

rover6 I hope you're not questionning Sturrocks tactics. He was afterall considered by yourself to be the ideal replacement for Souness and the best manager outside of the top flight. -
Far better than the Premiership. All games seem to get at least a few minutes on BBC. The pundits don't go over the top like they did on the Premiership, half of that show was taken up by Pundits and Adverts with a little football sprinkled in between.

The version of no nay never with Stanley Ternant replaced by Stevie cotteril was sung in Dublin

Just put pics on Truprint site but they don't seem to be open for all to view. I'll try another site in a minute. Try Here That seems to work, didn't get many pics and the ones I did get seem to get quite blurred as the night went on. -

I've got a sneaky feeling that was myself and Jordan. Dwight laughed and put his fingers in his ears. I have just got back from Ireland and would like to share my view of the 4 goals........ I'd like to share my view but unfortunately I can't actually remember any of them. I'd also like to thank the two Irish lads who gave me and Kirsty the passes for the free bar in the ground, probably not the best move in the world but definately appreciated. There were so many funny moments throughout the day, they keep coming back to me every now and then. Like Jordan asking for a return ticket to Blay, us all laughing at him and some bird stood behind him having a go at us for having a go at him. Jordan and Scotty's pitch invasion which resulted in Jordan scoring the sort of goal Yorkie can only dream about........ i went between the sticks. Anyway, I'm sure more will come to me soon but I'm knackered at the moment. My bed is calling. -

That would have been good but unfortunately I don't get there until 9.00 am on Saturday. From what I've heard about the Irish Rovers they'll probably still be drinking then!! -

Looking forward to it now, The missus still thinks we are going sightseeing all day on Saturday. Not sure wether to break the news to her before we get there or just 'coincidently' pop into the same pub as all of you guys, at exactly the same time. -

2.00 pm at Oliver O'Gogartys sounds good to me. I'm sure I'll be able to find it easily enough. -

I'll be in Dublin for about 9am. I'll be up for meeting somewhere although I guess the Missus won't be too chuffed if I go on the lash all day. -
Thats what we have been moaning about ever since ITV took over the Premiership highlights. I also like the fact that the 90 minutes they choose to show will be decided after all of the games have finished on a Saturday. Gone are the days of ITV choosing to show a 0-0 draw between the 'bigger' teams instead of a 4-3 between two of the smaller ones. It all sounds pretty good to me.

I saw the first advert for it today Eddie. It says something along the lines of "Watch every one of your teams games live, or nearly live"

Another goal for Gally, is that 5 for pre-season.
