Ah, he must have been on the list as an outgoing not an incoming. Rest of the list looks like it will improve them. Won’t be an easy one tonight if they have new players with a point to prove. Have to hope that ours want to impress any new manager coming in.

Just seen Sheffield Wednesday have had a way better window than us in my opinion. Nakamba from Luton Amass Man Utd Jerry Yates Ethan Horvath Joe Lumley Jaden Heskey Nathan Redmond All better than we’ve bought in.

We need a leader of men. We don’t have the quality in the squad to get out of it based purely on football ability. We need a manager who can get players to give that extra 10%. It needs to be a motivator who can build an ‘us against them’ philosophy. That’s the only way we get out of this mess. Trying to play pretty football in a relegation dog fight will only end one way. Im hoping Val wasn’t popular with the players and some see it as a new start. I know he bombed at his last club but would Will Still be worth a look. I’m not 100% convinced but he’s done well in his previous positions.

I’m not convinced he’d even leave Stockport for us at the moment. That’s how far we’ve fallen! They are only about 8 places behind us.

Have to hope and prey for a new manager miracle. That squad stinks of relegation. No quality at all in the final third.

Jake Batty to Swindon is done

We’ve gone though the month with nowhere near enough fire power and the one position that we desperately needed to sort is ignored. I’m guessing that’s why Ismael went. He’s been told nothing else coming in and decided he’s got no hope of keeping us up.

Go for Ballard from Orient. Stockport are chasing play offs so more likely to want to keep players. Orient are well out of that race

Ismael should have walked half way through the window after his requests through the media for new signings was clearly ignored. We needed a striker at the start of the window yet we’ve ended up with two wingers. Nowhere near enough goals in this team to get us out of trouble.

Jerry Yates would have been a better signing than the names we’re being linked to. Bad year so far for him but I think a change could be what he needs .

Could you imagine how much Spzl kit we would have shifted. It would have been absolutely amazing. But no, we want the cheap option 😞

Cadamatari managed 5 goals in league 1 last season. Leonard has smashed through that by January. Should never have been sold when we are so short up top.

I still think we would have gone up had we got Undav that January. He’s turned out to be a proper striker. I dread to think who we’ll roll out as our big signing this January. Surely the manager has to come out with something after spouting off about the numbers of signings we needed and how we needed to do our business early .

We don’t even really need another wide forward in my opinion. We need a down the middle battling ram. I’d like to see us take a look at Ballard at Leighton Orient if we‘re looking at lower leagues.

Dike is an interesting one as it looks like he’s out of contract in the summer so that combined with his injury record could keep the fee down. He didn’t join West Brom for a huge fee either and due to the injuries he’s not really pushed on there. I guess he’s hoping he stays fit and ends the season well to get a move. I wouldn’t be against bringing him in but we need another as well.

I’m not sure it’s a great thing to be sharing his mobile despite what we all think of him. Maybe I’m in the minority but I think it’s a bit of a low blow.

It could be wrong but it also could be VI not wanting to share that info in the window, as Mercer touched upon. If every club knows we need a striker then we will have our pants pulled down on fees.
