  1. Lot of praise for Dion as well. Tough to come into a game like that and have to get quickly up to speed. Looked solid and didn’t put a foot wrong. Good to see Buckley growing into games over this run. Gone from liability to a key player, still makes the odd stray / dangerous pass but is looking much sharper. Weekend won’t be easy at all though. Worry that we underestimate Plymouth. They beat us at their place and are probably better now. New manager has transformed them,
  2. I’m putting it out there now that I’m not convinced he’ll keep them up. Plymouth have hit form and are now only one point behind them. Luton now rock bottom put only two points off Derby with a better squad. Someone else will probably get sucked into the fight like we did (after being 6 points clear of it when he took over).
  3. Only disappointing performance was ACD who looked lost when he came on. He’s not got a defensive mind at all so it was a poor choice to bring him on when we knew we would be under the cosh. Apart from that I’d say it was a perfect away performance.
  4. You know it must be bad when even Chaddy is showing anger towards the owners. That’s no disrespect to Chaddy at all but he does typically see the best in the club so if he’s angry you know it’s bad!!
  5. Could have done without the 94th minute Cov winner tonight. A draw there would have been ideal
  6. I was going to ask if they’ll claim this has his first win for them if they get a result. 👀
  7. So on the back of that I’m assuming that you now finally admit that the January window was an absolute shit show as you’ve done everything to defend it up to now.
  8. 100% Jim. There’s no part of that statement that would encourage him to stay with us now.
  9. Did they? I must have missed that quality shining through in our 2-0 defeat. Kargbo looked ok, I’ll give you that but Dennis hasn’t played any football in about 8 months. Not what you need from an impact player. Poor window however you want to try to dress it up.
  10. He wanted Quality signings. We didn’t make quality signings.
  11. Toth has been awful today. I mentioned before that we needed an improvement on Pears yet we’ve bought another keeper who is worse than him. It’s fairly obvious why Pears kept his place after Toth was signed.
  12. Kargbo has left his foot in. It’s not a pen but it’s not a yellow in my opinion.
  13. Toth is way worse than Pears which is saying something. Weird signing that one. We needed a Pears replacement.
  14. Small markets can be heavily impacted with just a couple of bets tbf. It really doesn’t take much to swing it. reckon we could probably get Chaddy into about 5/1 if we all contacted the bookies and asked for odds on him.
  15. He sees the other keeper every day in training, I’m assuming Toth is even worse! He’d be playing him otherwise. I can’t imagine Toth was a Eustace signing at all and I’m guessing he’s looked pretty average so far.
  16. We’ll be out of the play off places pretty quickly. That’s another example of why the transfer business needed to be done earlier. It’s another 3 points thrown away as even after the window has closed we’ve not been able to field 2 new signings.
  17. I don’t see how this can be dressed up as anything other than a disappointing window. There’s 5 points between us and 13th. That’s a lot of teams pushing for the playoff places. West Brom seem to have had a good window as do Boro. They could both overtake us in the coming weeks unless our form improves drastically. Are these the types of signing who are going to be able to push us to a playoff place? I’m not convinced.
  18. Dennis might be up to speed by the end of the season. He’s not been playing at all which is a worry
  19. I read it as the two from tonight
  20. Sighed as they weren’t signed??
