I don’t agree with the 1 player needed. As a minimum for me it’s: keeper (or use pears as number 2) centre back centre mid (when Travis goes) right wing proper striker (£3-£4m man)

Wouldn’t say he’s active but he’ll still be named as I guess he’s on gardening leave. He’s still technically an employee of the club until that ends.

Leaving West Brom and one of their fans said ‘you best get used to results like that with that manager in charge’. Not rated there at all and it’s becoming very clear why. He has done nothing in his career. Had one good spell at Barnsley which was more down to the roots laid by the now Bristol City manager. He’s a nobody, a journeyman and in any normal football world would be nowhere near our club.

We’ve done well with the loan market before but I can’t see the current lot paying the loan fees to get the better players. It’s probably our only option now to get out of the mess we are in and actually get some attacking threat on the pitch. Absolutely toothless again today. Just didn’t offer enough going forward again. Happy with Tavares, thought that was a promising start and he looks like he could be a decent signing for us. Early days but the new signings don’t look too bad. Not convinced with De Neve but he’s popped up with a well taken goal. The new signings were better than the over promoted youth team players who look nowhere near the level they need to be at. I’d argue playing them will damage their future more than letting them play more under 21 games. They are not ready and shouldn’t be pushed into starting competitive games.
