  1. That’s the only decent goal they have scored tbf. We’ve been poor for the other two but that was decent play and a decent finish.
  2. Awful for us today. Absolutely awful!
  3. How do you not make a change after that! Straight into the second half and they should have scored again due to Pears being absolutely wank!!
  4. Not sure we can blame him for that. We’ve been awful,
  5. Pears hasn’t been good enough for years, yet we bring in ‘competition’ who’s even worse than him!!
  6. Absolutely awful first half. Nowhere near where we need to be at. Fucking gash!!!
  7. I said previously that I wouldn’t mind seeing Buckley in the Cantwell role. He’s got a good range of passing and could thrive in that position as he can’t tackle for shit!
  8. Now that would be an interesting one but can’t see him dropping down to Championship level. He’ll have his eyes on bigger jobs than ours.
  9. Forshaw was ok last game but I’d have Buckley back in tomorroe unless he’s carrying an injury.
  10. Seems to be the fact. They finished third under him and won the league the following year.
  11. It shouldn’t come down to Duff or Karanka though, there are better options out there. I’d agree that it it was those two I’d take Duff but I’m amazed we can’t attract someone better with the unique offer of a potential promotion on the CV. Top 5 and key players on the way back for the run in.
  12. Kargbo seems the obvious one to come in for ACD who hasn’t been great in the last two games. Wouldn’t be changing too much else. No need to rush Batth or Carter back as Dion has looked steady enough. I’m guessing Batth is one of the injured players mentioned. I’m not even convinced him sitting on the bus for the best part of 7 hours is best for a hamstring injury so I wonder if he’ll be given a bit longer.
  13. I’m another who doesn’t get the Duff love in. Great player for us but if you take sentiment out of it then it’s definitely a poor choice based on experience.
  14. I was on the train down to Cardiff with the Spurs fans thanking me for coming to the start of Glen Hoddles revolution. Very quiet on the way back they were.
  15. He won’t be in the stands Neil he’ll be in the dugout. They are dragging it out long enough to be able to give it to Lowe until the end of the season.
  16. The issue is also the lack of quality in the alleged final 6.
  17. That would be the worst option for me. It’s one thing having a few wins when the players have lifted themselves. It’s another seeing it through to the end of the season and navigating the play offs. But it’s also the cheapest option so it’s safe to say it’s something these clowns will be considering.
  18. Derby down to second bottom now
  19. Yep, it’s a win win situation. The only issue is that some of the targets may still be being compensated from being sacked and taking our job would impact on that. On that basis I can’t see a Cooper type target taking a short term gig and losing the Leicester money.
  20. Just to echo my point. 14 managers have lost their jobs in the championship this season (excluding caretaker managers)
  21. I honestly think that there will be interest in the job. A manager will want a promotion on their CV. We all know the play offs are a lottery and literally anything can happen. An out of work manager will see it as a chance to come in without changing too much and get a place in the top 6. It’s a win win job as you can just blame the owners and the shit show above if you fail to make the play off spots. It really is a win win job for a short term project. There’s no stability but in reality what’s the average championship managers term been recently, the turn over is pretty rapid.
  22. He’s been linked in the press
  23. Really could have done with them not sacking the manager. Usually a reaction so it makes Saturday harder.
