Spurs picked up 3 points against Boro last week but were completely outplayed during the first half. It was only when Boro had a defender sent off that Spurs posed any threat at all. I never predict scores as I am always wrong but I think this will be a close game and it could go either way.

I thought he misses the next game which would be the midweek game against Liverpool in the Carling Cup.

His suspension will be the mid week carling cup game. -
I backed you up Brownie. Sherwood was always one of my Favourite players when I was younger. I still keep an eye out for his performances at Coventry.

just got home after a thoroughly enjoyable away day. Bought a Citeh supporting mate with me and he really enjoyed meeting everybody. It was good to catch up with a few old faces and meet a couple of new ones. The fans were fantastic and outsung the Fulham fans all match. The players did seem to really appreciate the support from the fans and raised their games. The on ly one thing i would say is that we should be shooting more, several times we got into the box but seemed scared to have a go. All of the players were outstanding and we deserved the win. You'll all be pleased to know that I actually managed to get off the train at the right stop on the way home and didn't end up doing a 'Scotty' -

I guess Crossley will be playing in goal, I must admit I'm quite happy about that as I rate Van De Sar highly. Crossley has looked good recently but I still think he is prone to errors so we could get some goals. Andy Cole will score past us so we just have to score more than them..... simple!!! -

looking forward to it, only my second away game of the season. I will be in the Eight Bells nice and early. Any one been there before?, just wondering if I will be allowed in wearing colours. -
My tickets arrived yesterday. Looking forward to meeting up with everyone in the Eight Bells. Am I going to be able to get in in Colours??

I'm intrigued to know how they plan on imposing this 5 year ban from all grounds. In 12 months surely he could walk down to the Ewood ticket office and pay cash for a ticket, how would they know who he is!! He could give a different name if that was required. I really don't see how this can be enforced.

Great Preview Tris, just one thing, the game in Mid April was screened on Sky not ITV Digital. I remember it well as I was interviewed by Sky and unsurprisingly made a complete knob of myself. -
So I guess that means another vote just between Forrest and Sherwood then.

I would not change the back 4 at all. Players need a few games together to gel, changing it around continuesly will help no one. It didn't look great at the back yesterday but it will come. Need to look at the midfield, why weren't they tracking back. Brum had 5 players in the box for the anderton goal, our midfielders weren't anywhere to be seen. -

Jim, they also had the best defensive record and we've just put 3 past them -

Funniest moment of the game was Dickov screaming at Gally for scoring when he had done all the work. I feel Dickov deserved a goal. Also nice to see Manchester Blue get more airtime than MGP and Yorke put together. Some very impressive bubble gum blowing going on there mate. -
I think when a player starts saying that he should play instead of one of his teammates it shows a complete lack of respect. Reid has been doing ok the last few weeks and I can't see the team being changed this weekend. Shame he won't just get his head down and work hard to show he deserves a starting place instead of spouting off to the press when he gets a chance.

I voted Sherwood right back at the start, I just can't believe the way people on here are slating others for doing so. Unless some of you have forgotten this is a vote, people are entitled to vote for whover they want to. I have read all of the players biographys that people have kindly posted and I have made my decision. I like others do not feel that I should be berated for making a decision.

Can we get back on topic now please guys. I certainly don't have the time or energy to read through pathetic name calling posts.

Bugger. Got 11.5 -1 on Stead to score first and he misses a good chance. City go up the other end and score.... -
quite like babyshambles at the moment. Got Oasis tickets for June next year. Quite like Razorlight too.

I wonder if emailing John Williams when I got in from the pub last night was such a good idea???

I've felt for sometime that we are are not making the use of our acadamy. In recent weeks young players from Southampton, Everton, Arsenal, Man U, Liverpool to name a few, have been making steps into the first team. We don't seem to have many players making the step up. Jay has featured in recent weeks and Douglas a little last season but surely qwith an acadamy of rovers calibre we should be seeing a lot more coming through. I am dissapointed to see Tony go as he has been an excellent servent to the club. The only care taker manager to take the helm 6 times at the same club, that's a hell of a record.

Anyone know of any cheap places to stay (or a floor would do!!). I am at a training course on the Friday and wouldn't mind staying down for the game.
