In the first half stead was in a similar position to the one he took up for the goal, he was pointing and shouting where he wanted the ball but MGP ran with it. I think Thommo summed it up in the post match interview when he said that Stead hadn't had great support from the midfield this season. Hopefully we can get stead back on form starting with leicester next week

He looked good last night Hughesy but I'm still not sure about him. I work with a Wolves fan who reckons he has everything in his locker except for the finishing. He goes clean through and skies it time after time. Wether he just needed time to adapt to the prem or not, I'm not sure. I will admit that he has impressed in recent weeks. Just seems odd that if he was that good why did Celtic not want to keep hold of him.

It was actually 1.4m that you got for gronkjaer, not that great when you paid 2.2m for him in the Summer. Also each Prem position is worth 500k, you have lost your last 3 league games if i'm not mistaken (these are games that you may have picked up points if you had played Savage). So I guess that can come out of the 3m you got for Sav. Don 't think it looks quite so Rosy then does it.
