The club will need to not net off the end block of seats, or as JH points out you could well be blocking the views of existing ST holders.
Or you could go in the end block of the Riverside? Usually deserted there...

Go for it!
Watching the Championship highlights, Bristol City have a corner of Ashton Gate full of singers called ‘Section 152’ or something similar, presumably the block of the ground they’re in. It was full of banners, flags etc. Huddersfield, Boro etc have their own versions.
Maybe something the former Darwen End crew can get going?

Millwall have proven that you can make good stab at the Championship if you can harness that momentum.
Longer term Preston and Brentford are there and there abouts each year on 10,000 crowds.

Chaddy has obviously seen something in the games that’s he’s watched during that 1 win in 14 that has convinced him Lambert can sort them out.
Fair enough, not sure their fans agree like...

Exactly Rev.
Waggott’s taken a gamble, sales don’t particularly increase them he’s thrown away a great chance to build up the crowd again whilst there’s goodwill around the club.
They do increase significantly and we’ve not only got more in the ground with all the benefits that brings, but also increased revenue, which helps with player budgets, not forgetting FFP and so on.
Lets see where we are in a couple of months.

Good do on the Burton terrace replaced by ‘derby day’ £35 tickets at the Breezeblock, being ‘goaded’ by them divs in the corner.

Barnsley manager sacked, no messing there!

Our record there is horrendous (or feels like it).

Great fun this ain’t it!
Not sure I thought so in the Brentford away end...

Creating an atmosphere in a ground of 31,000 with 11,000 in it is always going to be a challenge.

You did say you’d quit your job, that’s why me and arbito picked up on it!
But as you have an understanding boss who lets you swap shifts, you’d never need to test out that rather bold statement.
You’re a big fan chaddy, we know that, so you don’t need to come out with silly statements.

You’d quit your job for a Tuesday night match against Ipswich?
You must be an in demand fella!

Not sure what mine is, I just know we are not at it yet.
If you think of the club from the 90s onwards, the only time I can ever remember cost being an overriding issue (instead of shite football, relegations, Venky’s etc), was that mid 2000s period prior to Williams slashing prices across the board- prices were around £500 and we started a PL season against Fulham with around 16,000 home fans.
The Rovers fan base does not pay big money in large numbers - either home or away, unfortunately I doubt there’s anyone left at the cub to warn Waggott of that.

I agree, should have been an actual price freeze.
My point was more about the perception that some fans have that our ST’s are still some of the cheapest out there - JH’s list shows that’s no longer the case.

Everyone but our chadster!

And I’ll be doing it again, as I don’t want to pay £400, well not until I pay that ‘frozen’ price next year...
Got me by the...

Frozen?
My season ticket will cost me £50 more.

The main reason folk bought 1875 membership was to get first dibs for small allocation away days at new grounds. Fleetwood, Bristol Rovers and Wimbledon being the main three - though in the end two out of the three went to general sale anyway!
This won’t be an issue anywhere in the Championship (definitely not at the prices you get charged) so good luck flogging memberships.

Also known as the 2019/20 early bird prices...

PNE as an example usually charge a standard £24, and that’s with £400 minimum season tickets.
Nearly £30 for third division football (presumably £30+ next season) is bloody stupid, end of.
-
I always remember Gordon, formerly of this parish, warning against de-valuing our product too much with cheap ST deals.
JH’s list tells us that they are now competitive with the league we’ll be in, not the noticeably cheap prices they once were.

If the rumours are true and away followings of under 3k (which will be most matches) are going to be in the DEnd upper next season, then that end of the ground is going to look pretty desolate.
-
Oh and why Wednesday? Could have had them on sale today.
-
End of the day a £50 increase is a fair old whack in one go, I expected the BBEnd to maybe go up to £320 or so, but £299 to £349 is not insignificant.
Thursday deadline.

As Kamy says it’s a direct quote.
The normal style would be ‘Friends of Mowbray/club insiders are worried about a transfer ban’.
