  1. You have to admire the irony of Theno accusing other people of pomposity.
  2. Yeah sorry Warren. Probably a bit ott that. Bit pi55ed.
  3. Far too ###### for any sort of coherent match report so just a few observations. Players who I, and others have slated recently were great today. Tugay, Neill and Johansson were competing for man of the match - I reckon Neill may have just got it. Gally was terrific. Took his goal well and looked like he was forging a partnership with Dickov. We should have scored at east five. I lost count of the amount of times we got behind them but the final ball let us down time and time again. Fulham were awful. Dreadful. Poor. Bad. Our fans were fantastic. Ace. Loud. Good. Lovely to meet StuWilkey and his glamourous girlfriend. Good work fella! Going to drink some more now.
  4. Give it a fecking rest you clown. Any media comment would have come in tomorrow's and next week's paper's. Hopefully we gave them nothing to comment about.
  5. Are we talking about his "wand" again?
  6. Already had Alan, already had.
  7. Can we get back to the racist bickering please and leave the funny stuff alone.
  8. Can't understand why both De Pedro and MGP don't play every week. They're ace.
  9. Wasn't the first thought that came into my head.
  10. SSN are reporting that Boa Morte is injured for Saturday. Which is nice.
  11. Can I just say that Mikeyliu said what I wanted to say. Unfortunately, I was too angry at the time. Nice one Mikey.
  12. I normally don't agree with your posts AESF. I think you tend to sensationalise everything and emulate the tabloids in your style and content. However, I don't think I've ever read anything from you quite so prejudiced and blinkered as this. Just pathetic. I don't know if the Daily Mail has a message board, but if it has why don't you feck off over to it where you're "message" may be better received.
  13. No, I'm not sure it does. I think it was an over-reaction just like everything has been an over-reaction since Sunday. The thing that's annoying me though is that some people seem to be implying that Yorke is in some way to blame for the over-reaction. He isn't.
  14. I really do despair about some of the arguments being put forward on here. It's totally immaterial whether Yorke was a flop at the Rovers, whether he warmed up in front of the Blackburn End, whether he's a millionaire, or whether he smiles a lot - he should not be subjected to racial abuse and he had every right to report it when he was. What happened afterwards had nothing to do with Yorke.
  15. So what you (Capt K), and others, are saying is that Yorke should just put up with being racially abused?
  16. I think it's really sad that a number of posters on here seem to be implying that Yorke is in some way to blame, or has in some way encouraged, this incident. He was racially abused and he reported it. What's wrong with that? It's not his fault that the media went beserk and the lad involved was treated harshly. Racial abuse should not be tolerated by anyone. It may not be the crime of the century but it is still a crime and the knob who did it deserved to be reported.
  17. EDIT: probably best not to speculate at this time.
  18. Have to agree with Tris, the whole media scrum will be at Craven Cottage on Saturday - especially with Andy Cole playing for Fulham. It's wrong but it'll happen.
  19. So why do you seem to be criticising him for where he warmed up?
  20. He could have been warming up in the Blackburn End concourse - he still doesn't deserve to be racially abused.
  21. Doing it 5 times. Oh, and it more than equals it. No he didn't, he won the FA Cup. And let's face it, how he conquered Old Etonians, Blackburn Olympic and Darwen, I'll never know ! As you'd know if you'd bothered to read FLB's excellent post, the FA Cup was the premier competition back then. And those clubs you mentioned were the equivalent to the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Man Utd today. I'm not going to carry on as I don't want to be accused of "negative posting" again. All I'll say is that Forrest was the best midfielder in the country at the time, he won the most prestigious competition in the country at the time 5 times for his hometown club, and was a regular for his national side. Sherwood, although a good player, wasn't even the best midfielder at the club and never played for England during his time at the Rovers.
  22. Doing it 5 times. Oh, and it more than equals it.
  23. Hahahahahahahahahahaha
