If you've been away this season twice and held a season ticket you'd have got one, simple as that.
This is an away fixture why should home FA Cup ties count?
Spot on by the club even if i didn't get one
-
To be honest having spoken the better half watching it in a packed pub isn't so bad i can loosen the noose
I think the blues bar will be rocking on the day in question so if we've no chance of a ticket in the away end i'm sure we'll cheer them on from 12 miles down the road.
Just wonder how many tickets we could have sold for this one had the dingles had a half decent ground capacity
-
Gav, it's o.k. not cheering when rovers score but you would stand out a mile if they happen to score and your sat there like a statue
Tony. (ralph and dennis's mate)
Good luck in your quest for a ticket!
Alright pal
Alls not lost i have a few irons in the fire

Whilst I and other mods / admin appreciate any dissapointment please remember the site guidelines. As we cannot condone ticket touting.
Whilst we do allow adverts of particular relevance to Rovers fans, all adverts should be submitted to a moderator before posting. Adverts of no particular interest to Rovers fans are not permitted. This also includes adverts for other websites and businesses. THE BUYING AND SELLING OF FOOTBALL TICKETS IS NOT PERMITTED.
Any posts advertising to buy or sell tickets will be deleted.
Sorry, but I hope you appreciate that by allowing such advertising the site could get into trouble.
Sorry wasn't thinking.
Ticketing policy absolutely spot on and i've no problems with the way its been handled.
You'll not please all the people all the time
If all else fails i can get tickets in the home areas but don't know if i can be arsed sat on my hands and keeping my mouth shut.

Long may it live in all our memories - especially the faces of all the scared little boys in Blackburn shirts who no longer felt quite so hard anymore
The cynical ones amongst us could go to town on that remark but even i'll give it a wide breath
-
Gav read what I said, Big game yes, big club no.
I am not playing not interested, I certainly am - for a Burnley fan who started in the late 70's (or early 80's) then these games have a meaning all their own
Late 70's? Or early 80's? You can't remember when you started to support them? But you've never seen a burnley win?
Biggest triumph by burnley in recent memory is Ewood Park 1983:
Burnley fans caused chaos by throwing roofing panels at there own supports situated in the Darwen end. Facts of the matter are Blackburn Rovers contributed to burnleys relegation that season and long may it live in Blackburn Rovers history
-
I think we are being a bit unfair on the borderers.
At least they are showing decent respect and queueing in their hundreds when there is a chance to see a top football team visiting Turf Moor.
In the last couple of years we have had many good teams, such as
Liverpool (we won)
Spurs (Twice, won 1 lost 1)
Villa (We won)
Man Utd (We lost)
The arrival of B*****ds is not seen as a big club in anyway. A Big game, sure but certainly not a big club
The quote re Yorkshire was from you dimwit so why not get your own coat - or if you cannot afford one do as B*****ds folk often do and take the nearest one not being closely watched
To the fool who feels the need to pick up simple spelling mistakes, I'll take it you meant I'm shall I
You started of so well longsiders..................
Blackburn Rovers will always be your cup final despite your remonstrations and for supporters such as me vice versa but stop trying to play 'Mr not interested' because we all know its by far a bigger game for burnley fans than 'Most' Blackburn fans.
-
from Yorkshire.
Not sure why you all feel the need to prove the lack of education in Blackburn by getting your geography all mixed up.
Even genetic deficients like yourselves should be able to discern simple county lines on a map
My point exactly, YOU'RE FROM YORKSHIRE
I'll get yer coat.....

I was responding to remarks made by a fellow poster not some six fingered, web footed muppet from Yorkshire.

just a thought- i dont think anyone has mentioned this before...
I believe the Cricket Field Stand holds somewhere around 4000-4200 in total- yet we have been given 3800 tickets.
therefore- i assume they must be having an area of seats closed off, probably between the away end and the Longside?
unfortunately, as i have to work in and around dinglesville, if this is the case then the numbties will claim these are seats we failed to sell- even if all our 3800 tickets are snapped up.
anyone know if this is true?
It won't matter in the grand scheme of things because regardless of a sell out of not you can be assured that in years to come burnley fans will believe we failed to sell out and the they had 10,000 stood outside.
Thats just the way it goes....
lol gav im in the office and one of the dingles said to me there was a half mile queue today .I just laugh me bollux off!
Abbey,
I know for a fact that the longest the queue got today was the main entrance to the Bob Lord stand! and thats from a few lads doing some work at t'urf who were there from 7.30am
Burnley fans, don't you just love em
really gav - thats funny because I can't tell you for a fact the longest it got but I can tell you it reached all the way past the bob lord to the Wellington.
It took 1hr and 20 minuted to get tickets - and that is a fact. Not from my best mates uncle, friends lads neighbors lover who was working outside the turf (funnily enough there is no building work outside the turf today - perhaps your 'mate' was confused?)
I would say that made it half a mile though.
As for the Jack Straw quote. Perhaps he had better remember that without Campbell the only place an odious looking man like him could ever have got elected was Germany circa 1938-1945

Well mr longsiders i'm having to rely on actual burnley fans currently working on the dump you call a ground so excuse me if i'm relying on the wrong sort of people. To be honest i couldn't give A FLYING **** how long the queue was.
Still living far away from burnley? or am i on the wrong longsider.....

Debs just heard a story on Radio 5 regarding Jack Straw and Alistair Campbell.
As most will be aware Campbell has been brought back into the labour party fold to push the election campaign.
The story goes that he sent an email via his blackberry to the wrong person regarding the recent poster controversy but the mail contained "F*** *F" and for this reason was brought to light.
Jack Straw commented on the email by saying something along the lines of:
"I think Alistair is very talented but needs to learn how to use his blackberry. I have no problems with the posters at all but speaking as a Blackburn Rovers fan I know that people from burnley are often technophobes and I know that the people of Blackburn will understand what I’m talking about!
Nice one Jack

These stories seem to act as some sort of half-wit magnet
And lo and behold here you are, putting in your two cents.

If every rumour I heard along these lines in the run up to any big game
What big games have you lot ever been involved in? apart from the mauling we gave you a few years back?
Pull the other one samual

''Upon arrival at burnley manchester road you'll be batton charged and section 60'd for your troubles just like last time.''
Let the train take the strain
I was thinking of taking a walk on the wild side this time Gav,not recommended then?..........
Wasn't that bad in 87
Didn't go on the train last time myself but had a first hand account from a few mates that did.
Not worth the hassle and even if you wanted to avoid the usual suspects you couldn't as the local police held everyone together.
Why don't we do what burnley did last time at ours? Catch the train and get off 6 miles from the ground and walk the rest of the way
That'll show them nasty Blackburn fans.......
-
Train Times:
Depart: 11:57
Arrive: 12:35
or
Depart: 12:35
Arrive: 13:02
Upon arrival at burnley manchester road you'll be batton charged and section 60'd for your troubles just like last time.

Unofficial coach via a number of pubs sounds best.
Police made all unofficial coaches join the main convoy last time round, if they refused then the coach was stopped from travelling
-
By the way, when we had to come to your place last time we actually sold all our tickets didn`t have a problem sitting in the front of the lower jackwalkers stand.
Absolute cr@p
If you were sat JW lower surely you'd have seen the empty seats both upper and lower tier in the Darwen? And lets face it for your cup final as well.
Typical dingle "We got stuffed but we sold out"
-
Working for a large company in burnley you can imagine the brown stuffs flying like never before
Interestingly enough I’ve had 2 conversations with 2 different burnley fans and one genuinely doesn't remember the defeats a few seasons ago and he's deadly serious? And the other claims a victory on Boxing Day 3-1 to burnley 'NOT SO LONG AGO'
LAUGH I NEARLY WET MYSELF.......
As for tickets, some people need to calm down you'll have no problems getting tickets for this one.
-
The usual rubbish being spouted over tickets when approx 800 seats were left unsold for the game last time out
I'd guess 3000 tops to be sold this time especially if it’s on TV.
We couldn't even sell out bolton away in the Premiership during the bloody Christmas holidays.
It won't matter one bit if you've a season ticket or hold stubbs from away games you'll get a ticket if you want one.
-
A win win win situation for bumley, they've got the gate money, TV money and a shot at their illustrious neighbours which they aren’t expected to win.
Terrible draw for us but I guess another day out in the land that time forgot would be nice if we win.
Anyone who didn't go last time should try to go this as it was an unbelievable atmosphere and one saved only for Rovers bumley games.
