  1. Jinx ☝️ But you’re right on Duckett, his arrogance got the better of him and he gave his wicket away after 3 or 4 scoop shots on the trot, stupid. But they’ve put us in a good position after 13 overs, England are 92!!
  2. This moron runs our lot close in the fuckwit stakes. Another grand old club being destroyed by a useless owner. When will the authorities act?
  3. England win the toss and bowl under cloudy skies, we need early wickets, taking advantage of these conditions. Come on England.
  4. Archer was never going to play, but Stokes will be a miss. Bumrah out for India also, so that even things up a bit.
  5. I’ve been watching the superb scenes today on The Mall, a real celebration for the Lionesses and quite right too. But you’re right roverandout, one of the things that has really struck me is how many of the girls have said they’re proud to be English, it’s unheard of these days in case you upset someone. It’s great to hear and we should hear it more often.
  6. Just another reason why we need rid of this these rats, its much bigger than just the first 11. Our fanbase is strong, but it won't be forever with bonkers decisions like this ☝️ VENKYS OUT - NOTHING ELSE MATTERS. Hope you're well by the way Mike 👍
  7. Superb stuff and several of these players with Rovers links too. I’m not going to state the obvious, our owners don’t deserve to share the same page with these European Champions.
  8. I was in Halifax yesterday to watch a gig at the Peace Hall, a venue that is quickly turning into one of the country’s best for concerts and is also a great place to spend time, eat drink and shop. But the reason mainly for this post is how buzzing the town was during the day. I'm not daft enough to think it isn't related to the Peace Hall gig, but alfresco dining, not a table to be had in the town centre unless you'd booked, people drinking in the streets at the local bars, table service and some really good pubs, it was a joy to see and reasonably priced. King Georges Hall used to be one of North Wests best venues, on the 'circuit' for most artists, but those days now seem gone for ever. Imagine an ambitious concert season, eating places and bars from Town Hall to old Debenhams serving thousands of people going to gigs and just out for a spot of lunch/tea, it would massively boost the local economy and support the cash strapped council in the process. I was told last night that Calderdale council contribute less that £1m to support The Peace Hall, in return the venue pulls in over £10m, its a no brainer. Just think what a busy King Georges could achieve for the town, sad to say it doesn't look like happening despite some really good people trying to make a difference. So it looks like Halifax will continue to corner that market and what a great job they're doing as well.
  9. Say how you feel OEB 😂 Fully agree with you by the way.
  10. Thats the flag we need, more than the Pasha one, but both are good efforts.
  11. The spin bowling during that period was outstanding. The drift Washington got in the air was magical, superb spin bowling, a joy to watch.
  12. Crawley is some batsman when he doesn’t give his wicket away, some of his strike play is exquisite. Old Trafford is like an Aussie pitch, we need Crawley for the ashes, let’s hope he can find some consistency heading down under.
  13. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c939rnrk54qo.amp Lancashire spokesperson talks like this is a one off? It’s not!
  14. I had to wind my neck in last night as I was sounding like me dad.... But I do agree in some respects on the current music scene, or the music scene for the past 20yrs, its been pretty poor in my opinion, with as you say some notable exceptions. I've always been into music, I listen to plenty of radio and have a few musicians in bands in the family, but its a struggle to find anything that stirs the interest these days if I'm honest. As for Oasis, seen them plenty of times, wasn't overly bothered about seeing them again, but the way they've captured this new generation has been phenominal. Got The Libertines, Magic Numbers, Oasis, Paul Heaton, Bob Dylan, Pulp and John Grant gigs coming up, so its a busy summer. I'm even considering going to watch Andre Rieu and The Johann Strauss Orchestra!
  15. You’re right on reflection, I’m being an arsehole, my apologies.
  16. Lordy Lordy you couldn’t make this stuff up, a Strokes tribute band and I’m being kind, but marginally better than those other Irish rockers Kneecap 😩 Give over man.

  18. Thanks Tyrone, it’s forced one of our group to get a new passport just to be sure.
  19. Nobody to touch Usyk right now, but you never know in this division. Looking forward to it.
  20. I'm going yes, looking forward to it. I'll be honest, I'm intrigued how they have managed to captive a whole new generation of fans, its unheard of in my experience. I’m going to sound really old now, but I guess it says a lot about the current music scene. But lets face it, I still see Oasis as having bollox, English, lad and football culture crossed with rock n roll, this country at its best and my God we need something to cling on to during these times.
  21. I think this attitude in some ways comes with being a moderator, he keeps having a pop at me on the other side of the forum, quite right to if he feels the need, but this moderator stuff is done out of the goodness of his heart, the forum stuff too, we need to keep that in mind. He wouldn't be the first moderator to be accused of the above and he certainly won't be the last. Keep up the good work @K-Hod, you're walking the walk and not as many do, just talking the talk. On this 3rd kit, I hate the badge in the middle, I hated the last time we had a badge in the middle too, its shoddy and lacks any sort of imagination.
  22. Cheer Mark, sounded great.
