  1. At least Broughton has 'owned it' but I doubt he would have if he thought his job was ever on the line.
  2. To play devil's advocate. Spending a couple of million in this window could leave us with a huge windfall if we get promoted. The epl money could wipe out a large chunk of the debt. Is it not better to take that chance than mill around in the lower echelons of the championship while racking up bigger debts? As the saying goes reach for the stars....
  3. Doesn't that suggest we had our house in order before Broughton arrived for the last couple of years
  4. That would only make sense if the club had a history of spending beyond its means. When was the last time rovers splashed out any serious money?
  5. Pretty pathetic quotes. We don't want promotion as it would risk the future of the club....duhhhhh!!
  6. There would be plenty of offers if venkys sell up. The club is still a good business for the right person
  7. I wouldn’t sign a box saying I'm 'British and white' I'm English and white
  8. No it isn't. Heads must role. This is exactly the kind of attitude that has gotten us nowhere the last 10 years. 'Aaahh let's sweep it under the carpet and move on'. There has to be accountability otherwise we're going round in circles
  9. Hes only taking the fall because he knows his job is safe no matter what unless he pointed the finger at waggott which he won't do because he knows which side of the bread is buttered.
  10. Broughton's words are meaningless. That's all we ever get out of rovers...words. never any action. The fuck up is partly down to the board having no accountability. There's no risk to their jobs so complacency steps in. If these higher ups were under real pressure they would make sure things were done right. It's a jolly boys club
  11. Regards giving jdt wat he wants. The words stable door bolted and horse comes to mind
  12. A ceo is the most important person In a business. Its his job to oversee everything. Imagine if the ceo of the company where I work decided to go out on a business trip when there's a huge deadline coming up?
  13. The problem is he should have been making sure deals got over the line not jollying it up in Birmingham
  14. But he was rarely playing anyway until January yet a number of clubs were in for him. I doubt playing in the reserve league for 6 months will put off any suitors
  15. Everyone who 'runs' or ruins the club
  16. We had good people running the club in the old days. It's not just about surviving 'on a shoe string' it's about the sheer contempt the owners and people higher up have for the supporters.
  17. Stupidest mistake pre venkys. Selling the club to them
  18. Ee I ee I o. Waggot is a fucking clown of a ceo. When we make some deals. Off come the wheels this is what we sing. Waggot is a wanker waggot is a wanker. He can't do a fucking thing
  19. Not having a pop but a decent striker would have made a successful window. Also ur point about technicalities. It's only a technicalitiy if it's some minor blip not some major clusterfuck
  20. Hes failed badly on the most important aspect. Player recruitment. Failure that could cost us millions. I know he's not solely responsible but he takes a portion of the blame
