Walker has played right centreback. James has played midfield right centreback. Trippier has played rightback leftback wingback. Trent has played rightback right wingback

The 4 rightbacks are more than that. They can play in a number of positions. Better to have versatility than a stagnant rigid squad of players. I think this is our most exciting squad in 20 years. As of jwp. Hes very limited. He doesn't have any real influence in midfield other than set peices. Southgate is finally bringing through exciting young players and people still moan

James crossing ability is hugely underrated. He can cross the ball as well as anyone. Just hasn't had the chance lately because hes being used more defensively. He has everything in his locker to be the best rightback in Europe in a couple of years

Stones didn't do that much wrong. He was very steady. Nerves might have got to him at the beginning but he improved especially in possession. I don't think maguire and stones are too bad. They're not elite defenders but they are better than alot of country's defenders in this tournament. I would play 3 at the back anyway with reece james as a right centreback

Real strength in depth. We have 4 rightbacks that would walk into most national teams. Not to mention awb. 2 excellent leftbacks. Top quality options out wide. Up front the fact he left out ings and Bamford shows the quality up front. Central midfield isn't as bad as people make out. We also should have taken tomori ahead of Mings. Hes been outstanding for Milan. Konsa has been excellent for villa too. Pickford is reliable and has been very good for Everton the last couple of months. This is definitely the best strength in depth in my lifetime. 40% of epl players playing week in week out are English. Which is a huge upturn

This England squad has far more depth. U have to agree with that. I dont think stones or Shaw would get in that England team.

Cant agree with both being overrated. Rashford has tons of ability. He has scored 20 plus goals in the last 2 seasons from out wide. Sterling has had a poor season by his standard but he scored 30 plus goals last few seasons, yes he's in a great man city team but hes also been playing well for England in the last 2 years. I agree with Southgate being useless
