  1. please keep your opinions to yourself.
  2. is there no way we can ban idiots like tim. it was bad enough having to stare at their unwashed faces for 180 minutes over the last fortnight, never mind on our board as well. im not talking about a complete celtic ban as it has been good to get opinions from the other side of the fence, but i have no time for people who want to rub our noses in it with poor grammer and spellin that aint too good
  3. I don't know whether Jansen will be the same player ever again. A very sad comment Bryan and one which I'm afraid has been in my mind for a while. Simply for Matt I hope he can regain the talent he "appears" to have "forgotten" as a result of his accident This thought has occupied my mind over the last few weeks. It is great to see Matty back, but until he scores his confidence will continue to be frail. I think that rather than rush him into the side only for him to "...do a Grabbi..." he should be allowed to come back slowly with some reserve games to reestablish his touch and confidence. I only hope he can get back to how he was last season. Rovers deserve it, but more importantly Matty does.
  4. That's not racist. It's, er...pro-IRA whatever it is, it shouldn't be allowed! i was getting carried away a little bit there, but it just goes to show how upset i am after the performance of the team/stewards/organisational staff of Rovers at the moment i even managed to miss the CIS announcement debarcle from the list as well!
  5. I thought that footballers were supposed to wear studs. Too often this season Rovers have slipped and slid all over Ewood Park. What is wrong with them. I didn't see too many Celtic players slipping. Basic organisation is to have the boots to cope with the situation. You'd think that we were the away team! Well we certainly played like we were.
  6. I hope the de-brief and lesson learning includes the following aspects: - allowing away fans to travel through non-official routes - allowing away fans to drink in town all day before the game - allowing away fans to get to 10 yrds from the turnstiles before checking tickets - allowing away fans to stand up throughout the entire match (especially seeing as their stewards were almost Hitler Youth at Celtic Park) - allowing away fans to leave the ground so soon after the game was over - forcing Rovers fans in the CIS to run the gauntlet to go to the toilet/buy a pie at half time. I personally had a cup of tea, about 10 coins, and a mouthful of spit thrown on me whilst I was queuing for the toilet - allowing Celtic fans to get away with racist chants (pro-IRA) throughout the game - allowing drinking and drunknesses to be almost condoned throughout the streets - allowing drunken fans to be admitted to the Darwen End - admitting fans with 500 fake tickets into the ground (the tickets should not be able to be faked) - having an inept level of stewarding in most sections of the ground (there was a fight going on in the CIS between 2 Rovers fans and the stewards were so undermanned they had to leave them to it) 3rd division organisation again Rovers. Well done.
  7. I think that the average Celtic away fan is a shame to himself and his family. I went to Celtic away and was well behaved as normal. I didn't see the need to drink so much that I couldn't stand up, and most importantly I didn't feel the need to abuse people in the streets. At half time I walked to the toilet at the Darwen end side of the CIS and was pelted coins/food/spit from Celtic 'fans', none of who were sat down. The stewarding from Rovers was its usually incompetent and this contributed to what was an embarrassing night all round. As I was leaving the ground and drove past the Hordens View I noticed 5 lads with pieces of wood in a stand off outside a bloke's house. The bloke was stood in his garden in his dressing gown! Celtic fans brought shame on themselves and their club and if they get into the Premiership I think I may turn my back on football for good.
  8. Since I bought mine from the ticket office at BRFC and they were mailed out to me with the letter/ground plan from Tom Finn I would be surprised if mine are dodgy, although we are talking about Rovers ticket office here and nothing would surprise me on that score. The tickets do look different from previous ones, but I'm quite confident that they are fine. As I said before, as long as you haven't bought them from a tout, or a bloke in the pub I'm sure you'll be cool. :'>
  9. I don't know about a white streak through the middle. You should be able to see a picture of Jack Walker with arms aloft in the background of the ticket. As long as you got them from the Rovers ticket office I wouldn't worry. If you bought them in the pub, I'd make sure you have a back up plan (i.e. which pub you are going to watch the game it) Sorry, but hope we all have a good one!! Up the Rovers!!!!!
  10. You'd better put on your best Scottish accent Andy. Hoots mon!! etc etc
  11. having gone to the match on saturday, i would say that the only change has to be to bring duff in on the left hand side for dunn. i'd then drop flitty and play dunn and tugay in the midde with thompson on the right FRIEDEL NEILL BERG TINY JOHANNSON THOMPSON TUGAY DUNN DUFF EGIL YORKE SUBS: FLITTY, GILLESPIE, KELLY, COLE, JANSEN cole and yorke do not work hard enough to play together, and if dunn goes walkabout (which he does have a tendency to do in games now and again) i'd have him straight off for flitcroft

    First Hat-Trick

do we have a buy back option on Beattie? it would be nice to get him in a couple of years when cole and yorke have been put out to pasture finished article by then?

    Souness Banned

does this mean that Rovers will be selling his seat, or do the ticketing staff think that they'll balls that up as well!!
  14. Can anyone shed light on a rumour that I've heard that there are some 'Corporate' tickets available for the Celtic (A) match at £100 or £200 each. The later involves an overnight stay in Glasgow. It might be worth some of the disgruntled fans asking the ticket office about these as if they are available then it could be an option: Jordan/waggy etc?
  15. The ticket office said those who went to Sofia and bought a ticket from the Rovers ticket office. I guess that if you made your own way there and bought a ticket outside the ground then you aren't on the Rovers database and therefore wouldn't be guaranteed a ticket. Either way, I said on this thread last week that this was a disaster waiting to happen Unfortunately I was correct.
  16. got through at 12.03 only restricted tickets left (but not the seriously restricted ones) but got 2 and will be there. i'm gonna bring my stilts!!
  17. got through at 12.03 only restricted tickets left (but not the seriously restricted ones) but got 2 and will be there. i'm gonna bring my stilts!!
  18. those outside of blackburn have to redial the area code so im sure that only those dialling 671666 will get through so that screws me as im dialling from liverpool
  19. Yeah, join the queue in the rain like everyone else!!
  20. I got through!!! at 8.55am and the automated message said that the ticket office was now closed. back to the start of the queue again!! we could be here all day!!
