  1. So Everton is classed as an A+ game.......I'm sorry to say but to charge an Adult £36 for the ' privilege' of sitting in the Blackburn End is cutting it really close,REALLY CLOSE!! :(

I'm a season ticket holder myself but I cant see many walk- on's being prepared to pay £36 against Everton.

i would say taht is disgusting prices. absolutely rediculous. they are always saying taht it is cheaper on average to buy a season ticket, but for those whom can't get a season ticket due to committments etc etc...then i find that the cost of sitting in the blackburn end..very alarming.

when i was last at ewood before i came out to australia, the most i ever paid for a ticket was 28 quid. i think they reckon it is an a game because of the following that everton will bring. 36 quid is still awful.

  2. i had another dream last night from a nightmare that i have had since childhood. the dream that i am always having is that the "incredible hulk" is trying to get me  but at the same time always gets close but never actually succeeds in getting to me. one dream i had a while back involved the hulk chasing me but as i turned a corner, KANE from wwe stood in his line and gave him a pummeling...very strange i know.

when i was a lad, i had constant nightmares about the hulk and even though i still dream about it, almost 25 years later, the dreams are not as bad as they once where.

so, anybody else got any childhood nightmares or dreams that they are still having....in one way or another!!

  3. oh no, oh my god, oh ######, (Please don't use that word again), double (Please don't use that word again)........ :o

once again, the club are happy to sign mediocre players at best, in the hope that this will appease the fans, for the way the club and bellamy lied through their teeth. a european campaign to come and we are signing roberts and jeffers. it is not ok for these types of players to be signed by the club, because the fans deserve a lot better.

i hope that people from within the club read these pages, then they will see the amount of dissapointment that is now apparent since the signings of these 2 players.

  4. we did what we had to do. we did not play that well, which at this stage is a good sign because we all know that we can play far better than what we put out this morning. i would rather do enough to get through the group phase and then step up a gear in the knockout rounds.

  5. just had a bloke come into the office, whom know's lucas very well as he played with him for the young socceroos. this guy is also josip skoko's brother...whom as we know is playing for the socceroos during the world cup. anyway, this guy said that he would be extremely surprised if lucas left rovers, because he is happy at blackburn rovers. he went on to say that like any player, if an offer comes on the table like one that he or anybody else could not refuse...i.e. champions league footy, then lucas would probably stay.

for all the tripe that is written in the newspapers about waht lucas said and how ti gets twisted around and how people always think the worse....he said that lucas is a loyal man.

  6. regardless of wether or not andy cole was lazy or paul dickov didn't have 10 pence worth of talent...players play in a certain way more often than not because of the way they are being coached. when andy was here, we did not play to his strengths as rev has already explained what they are. as for dickov, well his strength is harrassing the defenders, so you can't really play to that.

It is the way they are coached.

  7. just when you thought it was safe....like a phoenix rising from the ashes....the biggest comeback since lazarus...."SYDNEY ROVERS IS BACK"

i aint bothered who we get or where it is, but what i would like is to progress through to the group phase, and then fingers crossed, the knockout phase.

  8. i read this thread and shat myself. rooney is an integral part of our world cup hopes. if that boy is firing then we have a good chance to go really far in the tournament. everytime i watching a match which pits england players against eachother, i start to fret...come on lads, easy does it.

  9. You are pathetic

    401695[/snapback]

manchester blue....your middle name aint souness is it, by any chance? you might want to change it!!

everybody has differing opinions on the way toddy acted when he threw his armband down. some see it as pure frustration after getting back into the team, others are not as kind as that...and think he should have shown more respect towards that captains armband and the honour that he has, by being our captain.

pathetic, hhhmmm....now that is a word i would associate with people when they keep harping on about mr graeme souness!!

  10. frustration...you've had a bad day at work so does that mean you throw a brick through your window or decide to jump up and down on the bonnet of your car!! i don't think so.

when he through down that arm band, that was more or less it for me. whatever happens he will have some explaining to do and possibly an apology.

  11. i forgot about this thread and glad that someone brought it back up. throwing the arm band down was disgusting. no matter how frustrated he is bout getting injured, taht captains arm band should be treated with dignity and repect. if he can't or doesn't want to do this...then give the job to somebody else.

  12. phil...i think i know which one you are reffering to when bellars was pulling away from his marker. the tv showed the linesman make a signal with thumb and for finger to suggest only just offside....the same ###### linesman who failed to see cisse offside by 5 @#/? yards.

i have worked it out that to gaurentee uefa cup football next season, we need 7 points from the remaining 12 available.

  13. hmmmmmmm....other than the officials, namely the linesmen, made some monumental errors that contributed towards us losing 1-0. didn't effect liverpool so much.

i am amazed as to why the linesman in first half did not put his flag up when cisse was offside, and the ball went straight to him. how can people say he was in-active, when the ball goes right to him and he makes a play for it. as far as the linesman is concerned, wether cisse touched it or not, is totally irrelevant cause i repeat - the offside flag should have gone up.
