First 11 is ok (excluding Samuels as a winger) after that our bench is either unproven or past it. Only Armstrong has added something and he was here last year. We are relying on Samuels or Nuttall to hit double figures this year. As it stands - Very poor window -especially given the alleged budget. If I was Millwall manager, I'd be telling my CB to clatter Graham early doors.

Can't imagine Palmer and Chelski being too happy with that. Shame, we'll have all this creativity and nobody to put the ball in the net for the last quarter of each game!

Don't tell me this was the 'A' list guy. Clearly not signing anyone permanemt in a priority position based on Sharpe's most recent comments.

Can't say I'd be impressed with this Freeman at £4 mil. Sounds like a D list player that we are over paying for. Can he tackle? Pace? Or just more competition for Dack's role?

Looking at the 'bids' so far - if genuine -we would seem to have more than £4 million. £4 mil for the QPR lad £1 Mil for Trapp Add a striker (even Loan costs), keeper and CB. Given what we've spent - £10 mill may be the budget for fees. *Sure I read some idle gossip somewhere a while back saying TM went to India asking for £20mil and was given £10 mil...* * Probably bollocks ...yet being Rovers, we may well sign nobody so the 'money' may never be seen.

It would be ridiculous having left it this late. Surely, by today, you have deals in place for a couple. Throw in a couple of bids for 'better players' just on the off chance. Then sign the players you had lined up. You'd like to think...

I agree we could improve it. However, if we don't - it isn't the end of the world. I thought Davenport would be slotted in there -unless now he's been here a bit, TM doesn't think he's up to it.

Do you not think Gallagher could develop? Got the height. Easy to bulk up. Decent turn of foot and good in front of goal from what we saw of him. Don't think there is much better out there that we can afford - that we know will integrate with the squad. Keeper -surely a cheap loan will bring in some experience. Cm is a weird one - yes we could improve it but we could cope not doing. CB. Wanted us to sign a big aerially dominant CB for ages. The type you can. Chuck up front for the last 5 mins! And we definitely need a pacey wide man.
