Only seen a bit of him and he clearly struggled at Coventry but between him and the higher rated (by Brighton) Moran, I'd rather have him. As you say, has a bit of spark and devilment about him. He could be a shrewd signing for the right money. Shame we don't have any.

Final thoughts: Played much better than expected - to a man. Decent crowd. Small protest but achieved its aims and got Venkys name out there. Quite enjoyed the style of football we played tonight. Head held high.

Agree. Szmodic isn't going to get a move to the prem. Another case if a player being good in the champ but not having the game for the Prem. His age would also go against him. The outlier may be Luton uf they stay up. Unlikely that any current champ clubs would buy him as he'd be expensive at this level and financial climate. He would be a good summer signing for a relegated side however - relatively low wages and likely to score a few. That's the only way he leaves I think.

Last night we were shit. Plain and simple. Have to expect a lot more of those performances between now and the end of the season.

Birmingham have been better all over the pitch. Very lucky to only be the one down so far. Worst performance of the season for me and there have been some shockers.
