Took my daughter to a screening of Tron at Cheshire Oaks last night. The first half plods a bit then halfway through Michael Sheen pops up as demented nightclub owner, a weird mix of Joel Gray and Clockwork orange. It all starts from there really but overall very dark and the 3D's rubbish. A younger cgi Jeff Bridges, reminded me of that motion capture Beowulf.

I think most 2000AD fans had a certain guilty pleasure watching it. Mega City 1 looked pretty good, and the ABC warrior and Mean Angel looked amazing. Want this one to be much darker in a similar vein to Dark Knight, Quantum, Bourne etc They've only got £45M though

The third Batman film will be 'The Dark Knight Rises'. It'll be the third and final film in the trilogy and will not be in 3D.

Thought that's what you meant, just a tad obvious. You're right of course, it's great. Following the huge budget blockbuster season of this year (all of which failed apart from TS3), I love it when a lower budget film really delivers. What @#/? have we had to endure this year ? Prince of Persia, Clash of the Titans, etc etc. I think the Tron remake will be rather good
