  1. Err, no. There are claims on the web that the end message of 'help us' when reversed is 'it's still alive'. All adds to the web hype that built the audience for this flick. The film is pretty good, preferred Sweeney Todd myself. Rambo should be a laugh a week on Friday.
  2. OK, apologies for the quality (or lack of) but here is the critter 'Cloverfield'
  3. Looks like King Kong bummed Godzilla - but I'm not complaining. This year will be awesome at the flicks. Indy, Batman, Cloverfield, Rambo, Potter, Bond, Narnia to name just a few.
  4. What load of twaddle, you need to leave the custard creams and your Thora Hird box set at home and get some fresh air. So the majority of people who 'move in' or 'mix with' horsey circles are the liberal elite ? I have been involved with the pony club and God knows how many shows, equestrian events etc all over the north west. Take the lowest denominator and drive up to 'Croft Top' on a show day. In an area that's packed with every one toothed inbred from Buhnleh, Accy & Clitheroe, the shows are absolutely rammed. You can't comment on why these so called liberal elite favour the prodigy that is Lewis Hamilton ? Why cause he's black ? Or do you think he gained valuable driving experience in his early teens in Imprezas (all be it followed through a housing estate by three pursuit vehicles) Don't be so small minded and leave Zara alone, there are more followers of equestrian events than you think, and not all in the five valleys. I've spoken to Zara on a couple of occasions last year, she's delightful.
  5. Never mind that, why is Lucas Neill holding your little lad ?
  6. I've just sat through 'Elizabeth : The Golden Age' and feel deflated. As well as 'The Man who would be King', I have to watch the original 'Elizabeth' every now and then, stops my soul from flying off. This new one is great to look at, err, and that's it. A bit like 'Carry on Walter' at times, it goes nowhere, even the speech at Tilbury is as flat as a witch's tit. The trailer does an incredible job, the film doesn't.
  7. Oh behave your bloody self ! Even the messiah gets it wrong now and then - look at a platypus. Mark Hughes is the best manager we've lured down to Nuttall Street, just surpassing 'King' Kenny for me. Don't forget Kenny had a sort of Abaramovich budget to play with (although the owner preferred tripe to borscht), Sparky has had to use limited funds to put this squad together and I am happier as a rovers fan than I've been in a long time. Even the press are starting to give us the thumbs up. We cocked up - so what ? One win over any of the top 5 Smithy and you'll be bouncing round your bedsit again.
  8. Some of the posters on here will be wondering where do get this album. His new material following success with 'Northern Line'.
  9. Abbet ordering the soundtrack right now .....
  10. Drives me bloody mad, is it 'Estuary English' ? Radio One presenters who say 'Birminnum' or 'Nottinnum'. Didn't becomes 'Di unt'. Must be my age. Music ? Indulging myself on Limewire the other night ended up with an old KLF number 'Grim Up North'. Blackburn isn't mentioned ! Preston, Burnley, Accrington, Chorley however....
  11. Very disappointing. It starts off with clever gags, smart effects and the general feel of the first 'blockbuster' of the year, and then downhill here we go. Toward the end there was so much going on onscreen I couldn't keep track of it, like being in a washing machine full of nuts and bolts
  12. A mate of mine runs a business in Stroud (Eh - Ciren Rover ?) They were jet skiing along slad road > http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nzhZK2uePnA
  13. Picked up a copy of 'The Host' in ASDA for a fiver. Daft, schlocky Korean madness - I loved it.
