  1. It's 3 years he being offered
  2. Id sell Gallagher if Yates can be brought in with the money
  3. Can't see Wharton wanting to join Chelsea. The lad wants to be playing
  4. It will probably be palace looking at someone else as Wharton too expensive
  5. Also means we won't be rushing O' Riordan. If Phillips happens that won't be a cheap loan wages wise for us
  6. When the club are valuing Wharton at £20 million plus you would have to think that his new deal has put him amongst our highest earners
  7. His net spend is the lowest of the "big six" not that I think he was entirely responsible for the ins or outs with the transfers but they sold very well aswell .Top manager
  8. He sounds positive over 3 more incomings before deadline , an experienced centre back and forward were 2 mentioned. It's in the telegraph
  9. We all know how this ends the negotiations will last till deadline day and he will complete the deal at 23:59 giving us no time to spend any of the money The club will announce Finneran has signed pro terms with Broughton signing off by saying the sale of Wharton had opened a pathway for Finneran
  10. 12 months later but presumably the money to sign Brittain ,Hyam and Szmodic came from the Armstrong sale? So about £5 million was reinvested .Not a defence of the owners btw but if it wasn't from the Armstrong sale that we bought those then it must have been owner funded as we didn't have any other sale to cover those signings
  11. I'm not doubting what your saying but odd the club renewed his contract only a few months ago if they were set on moving him on this January,as he still had 4 years to run.And presumably his contract renewal was to do with upping his money ,if the club had wanted him out in the summer and were unhappy he declined the offer to leave you would think they would have kept him on his original wage and force him to be more accepting of a move away . Or is it a case of the money men wanting to move him on but the football side Broughton etc seeing value in waiting before cashing in?
  12. Yeah but Broughton can't sell a player unless the owners non negotiable valuation is met
  13. Why?It will be a Dougie Freedman buy. It's not just here that managers don't have much of a say on who is brought in
  14. Is that via Nixon's report or is someone else reporting it now?
  15. And who is paying a decent fee for him? I can near guarantee he will be loaned out before the window closes no championship club is paying the reported £4 million Leeds want for him
  16. JDT said in that BBC lancs interview the day Travis left that O'Riordan was a player he liked , hopefully some experience next (won't be holding my breath)
  17. They don't care what the fans think .Appeasing the support base is at the bottom of their priorities,as evidenced throughout their ownership. No way are they agreeing to pay costs for an appeal if the whole O'Brien and Brierely saga was a farce I don't blame Broughton for the summer window as he can't turn water into wine his budget shocking or specifically for the O'Brien deal failing as a dof shouldn't need to be stood over admin ensuring the documents were in order but last January imo there was a bit of money to play with and to pay the wages of a decent loan and we got nobody of note in so that is a big black mark against his capabilities
  18. Obafemi to Millwall on loan , when he gets a run in a side proven he can score goals at this level. Himself and Tangana are 2 solid loan signings whilst we are scouring the Belgium 3rd division.Ffs
  19. My argument is, that unless the player Undav himself said the reason he didn't sign was because he wasn't impressed by Waggott or Broughton then it is pure speculation. What Chaddy is getting grief for. I wasn't arguing wether Broughton was good at his job or not
  20. Do you know the reason was Broughton and Waggott? Or that he wasn't impressed ? Maybe he had a last minute change of heart as he felt he could play minutes in the premier league with Brighton which he did do O'Brien was suitably impressed to say yes
  21. He knows bugger all. Last January Carter to Pompey in exchange for Colby Bishop was imminent
  22. That account is in no way reliable can you point me toward the stuff they got right?
  23. I'm not sure I seen on Facebook that Ipswich are still interested in Gallagher and we interested in Rajovic via nixon Don't see Watford wanting to sell him tho with 8 in 13 starts and if they want £4 million then we wont be signing him
  24. Nixon saying we looked at the Watford striker Rajovic to replace Gallagher, Watford want £4 million
